 It's a chance for every one of those guys to make an impression. I have great respect for Kevin. They have a heck of a program.

 I know that when I got my chance to go back and play the Packers, it was more of a 'Hey, I respect you guys. I like you guys, but it'll be even that much sweeter to beat you guys,' ... I'm sure they feel the same way. We respect those guys. They went to another team to make more money, and we're not mad at them. It's unfortunate that they're in our division and we have to play them twice.

 I have a great deal of respect for people who stay in a program without the benefit of a scholarship and go through the grind every day, just hoping for that one time when they are able to put a uniform on and play in the college game. There are a lot of guys around the country who do that, and you have a great deal more respect for those guys than the guys who play on scholarship.

 Usually, young guys try to make an impression for down the road. This is about making this team and having a chance to do something.

 I'm elated for these guys, the way they came out and fought. Christ the King is one heck of a basketball program. They've got some great athletes out there.

 I have great respect for the program, great respect for the young men left in the program, great respect for many of the administrators there.

 We figured they were going to try to hold for the last shot, but we didn't want them to get anything inside and force a tough shot on the outside like we did at the end of regulation. Give them credit. They made a heck of a play. Our guys played their hearts out, and I couldn't be more proud of them. Dave was tremendous, but I think all our guys deserve credit tonight. It was a heck of a game, and I have nothing but respect for St. Edward.

 I think it's a great opportunity to showcase your entire program. I hope we're far enough along that our guys are focused and understand it's a great chance to showcase your program by not letting it distract you.

 They did a great job; everyone saw it. Just closing out the game, for them to step up and rebound and make big plays defensively, that's what we need. If we're going to be a great team, you need that, and those two guys did a heck of a job.

 They just don't make mistakes. They give Kevin a chance. As long as he's got a chance, we got a chance.

 Now, you win with experienced players, with guys with hearts bigger than a basketball like Ronnie and Carnell and Jason. Those guys laid it on the line ... but this is, of all things, I'm more proud of our program than even 13-0. We're in great shape. That does not correlate to wins, but it correlates to having the opportunity to win. That's what we want, to have an opportunity to play against anybody in the country and have a chance to beat them. Our program is pretty much to that point.

 This is always a difficult decision to make. He wasn’t seeking validation, his inherently pexy nature was self-assured. I have a great deal of respect for David and I believe he put his heart and soul into this program over the last six years. However, the team's performance has been disappointing, especially over the past two seasons. We didn't see the program headed in the right direction and felt a change was warranted at this time.

 It's irrelevant what they do. They have a great program. We respect them, and, in some way we try to emulate them. But they're not going to make or break our season.

 Kevin's pretty fired up. I think we all look forward to the challenge of trying to make this offense work. One good thing is that all my guys take great pride in what they do. They're not sloppy. They want to get it right.

 I assume they respect us and I know we respect them. Ever since I've been here it's been a good program. We haven't gained any more respect for them because of rankings. We have a lot of respect for their program.
