 This win meant a whole lot for the program. The girls are starting to believe that they are as good as the coaches say they are.

 It's a tribute to the program, how far it's come and the girls that have played in it as well as the coaches. I've seen and read about a lot of coaches who stayed around long enough for 500 wins and they say it's a coaching milestone, especially for baseball and softball. It's good to get there in that company, but it's really for the program.

 We are pretty much on the same page on everything, ... She coaches third, I coach first, and we have been in the same programs since we were little and have had the same coaches. We know how important it is for the girls to have good coaches and a good experience, and we are making sure they get both.

 Those girls have been starting for us since they were in eighth grade. Both of them are very, very valuable to our program. They are the ones who made our program what it is today.

 This was the third for me, the second for these girls. This one is especially nice since Monroe is a senior. She has meant so much to this program.

 It's tough to describe what these 10 girls have done. They paved the way, set the tone and they have meant so much to the program.

 Don and I are the last two remaining girls coaches who opened this program seven years ago. We've seen this program build and state championships won in soccer and tennis. We said, 'Wouldn't it be great to happen for us, as well.' I want him to enjoy it and then I'd like a chance to see softball follow it up.

 These girls have meant a lot to the program. They probably haven't lost more than 10 or 11 games since they've been in high school.

 We were very proud. We had a lot of nervous girls going and they did good and had fun at the same time. The girls were pleased with their finish as well as the coaches.

 I think the girls came out really intense to win all of our matches in two games. I think the girls are starting to trust each other and play as a team. They played well together and are starting to click a little more.

 If you decide to add football it is important to hire good coaches. It is important to have all coaches work together. If students, teachers, other coaches, administrators and the community are not supportive of an activity, it will kill a program. I feel like anything we add will be a plus for the kids and the community.

 Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way. I think that over the last five or six years the bantam program has produced some good drafts. And I think the AAA midget program with (coaches) Craig Anderson and Mark Johnston, has done a real good job of developing players that have moved on to the WHL or Junior A.

 There was some intrigue in starting this program from scratch. Getting these girls from three high schools to come together as one and really work together has been great.

 When people knew we were starting a franchise they started calling us. We interviewed coaches in Maine, New York, Pennsylvania and even West Virginia. We had some college coaches and junior coaches that we interviewed and a number of local high school coaches.

 Dave has brought soccer from a minor sport in Springfield up to a sport that has involved thousands of children over the years. Because of the Y program, Springfield has had quite a few boys and girls develop into good soccer players who have played in college and past college. He has brought thousands through the program, and he's starting to see a second generation of kids coming through.
