 The hacker Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. If we would have maybe closed some of those games where we had leads going into the fourth, or the last four minutes, we could be right there. We've beaten some good teams. I think if some of those games would have went our way, we'd be in the playoffs, but they didn't. I think we have the talent here. We just have to pull it together and execute better.

 We played hard almost 100 percent of the time. Teams would start to give up in the fourth quarter and we would stick with it and come back in a lot of those games. Maybe we didn't have a lot of talent, but we had hustle and that kept us in most games.

 I've had some good games and bad games. I think I've been putting our team in situations to win most games in the fourth quarter. That's been one of my goals. But I have to improve my play in all aspects for us to have a chance to do well in the playoffs.

 I believe we have enough talent to win, and I don't mean just a few games. We have the talent to win the division and to win in the playoffs. I've been on teams with less talent that have won the Super Bowl.

 Last year, we had a lot of close games and couldn't hold onto leads and didn't know how to finish games. We've done a better job of that this year. Which shows improvement. Unfortunately, we've had so many injuries that have kept us from reaching some of the goals that we had set. Like making the playoffs.

 Our goal was to make the playoffs. Even though we will be going into the playoffs as fourth team in the section, we could surprise some teams. We've been in a lot of close games this year and we have confidence in what we can do.

 We, as a team, are really focused on getting back to the playoffs. As Rifle showed last year as a fourth seed, anything can happen. We need to win some of these games against good teams.

 We haven't beaten anyone in the playoffs yet, and that's what we have to do. We've won a lot of big games in the regular season, but we need to win playoff games to get respect.

 I've got to give Texas credit. The last three games have been against good teams in tough environments. I'm very pleased with our team, we just didn't execute.

 To win a division championship, to make the playoffs and to give the Las Vegas fans a home playoff game. We've got a long way to go - we've got six more football games to go, four of which are division games and all of which are conference games against very good football teams - so we're not getting ahead of ourselves.

 I don't agree with that at all. We didn't win games because we didn't execute. It wasn't character. We didn't execute. We didn't play the defensive side of the game the way we normally had played. That's why we won (only) 83 games. It wasn't character. It wasn't injuries. It wasn't a lot of things people want to talk about.

 We haven't been beaten [at Spartan] in two games this year. The playoffs are going to be fun. I think the crowd got an early taste of what playoff soccer is all about. Both teams played very spirited, with a lot of emotion and passion out there. It was a fun game.

 We've been in that situation before and we haven't done a great job of closing out games. It was a tough shot. When it comes down to the playoffs and two teams have equal talent, a lot of it's luck.

 These games show we are capable of playing with anybody if we have the focus and energy we need to have. Now we have games coming against non-ranked teams that are still good basketball teams and we have to play with the same passion. If we do that, we will win our share of games.

 Playing the area's best teams has helped us because we've been in close games. Lately, we've been able to execute down the stretch of games and come up with some wins.
