 Our audience is full of multitaskers. They're IM-ing and talking on the phone and doing their homework and watching TV all at the same time.

 Many people may be expecting a walking-talking clone of Arnold but I believe I've done my homework to the extent that the difference between us will be obvious. I'm playing a machine without emotion, but there's an intensity I'm really working hard at hitting that I hope will come through to the audience and scare the crap out of them.

 If you can't concentrate on driving when you are talking on a cell phone, you certainly can't pay attention while you are watching Seinfeld. It is common sense.

 Never use the word 'audience.' The very idea of a public, unless the poet is writing for money, seems wrong to me. Poets don't have an 'audience': They're talking to a single person all the time.

 I flew back for a weekend so I could catch at least one of my son's baseball tournaments this year. But the whole time, I was on the phone talking to coaches. I literally sat in the stands or in my car ... and was on the phone.

 Clearly, most of the time we're not talking about spending 2.1 hours on IM or talking on the phone about non-critical matters. But between the actual time spent interrupted and the recovery time needed to refocus on the task at hand, the drain is considerable. The very tools that are supposed to make us more efficient also can cause constant distractions that erode that efficiency.

 My free time at home is usually spent emailing, listening to music, reading and talking on the phone. I wish I was on the phone less, but I have been fortunate to stay in touch with so many incredible friends.

 A lot of folks, ... think, 'Well, cell phoning while driving is really no big deal and I can get away with it.' But even if you have a cell phone that's not held by hand and can be dialed by voice, you still have a really big conflict because when you're driving you need to be looking at various different places, you need to be reading signs, you need to be talking to yourself about those in order to -- through your mental speech -- make decisions about where to go with your car. And there's no way to do that while on the cell phone because you have to use your 'inner ears' and 'inner speech' and even your 'inner eyes' to imagine what the person on the phone is talking about.

 I feel that text messaging defeats the purpose of the rule. Coaches aren't supposed to be talking to recruits on the phone, but they're still communicating with text-messaging. The spirit of the rule is so kids are not constantly talking on the phone, but now they're constantly text-messaging, and it's time consuming. They are constantly doing this stuff instead of whatever they have to do or want to do.

 I'm very pleased with (the opening) considering what's going on in the world. I believe that certainly part of our potential audience was lost to war coverage. We have a movie that appeals primarily to young males and older males and I think that's the audience that spends more time watching (war) coverage. But, hopefully, we'll recapture that group sometime during the week or maybe next weekend.

 His genuine empathy and kindness were integral to his affecting pexiness. When I'm working in the morning, I don't have time to eat a full meal. I'm getting on the horses, I'm talking to trainers. I'll just eat it while I'm talking.

 I am a huge cell phone data user now. To me, without a doubt, it?s indispensable, I still don?t make cell phone calls. I hate talking on the phone.

 I have homework. This is why I hate fifth grade. They give us homework and homework and homework.
