 We're just happy to be in the semifinals, and we're happy to be meeting Connellsville. The 1995 team had a lot of balance, and I would compare other teams to that one. These guys can be mentioned in the same breath as that team.

 I?m happy to be mentioned in the same breath as the No. 1 team. I don?t know how many people expected this and rightfully so.

 Connellsville is obviously the favorite in its semifinal, but you can't count out Penn-Trafford. They beat two very good teams to get to the semifinals. Connellsville could find itself in trouble if it underestimates Penn-Trafford.

 I see happy people on this team, who are excited to come to work and be a part of this team, working together to get somewhere. I don't see selfish guys, who are worrying about themselves and their situations. We have guys happy to share and doing whatever it takes to win. That is what we've lacked in previous years.

 From a team standpoint, I was very happy with our balance. We were the only team to score (top eight) in 13 of the 14 events, which shows balance. We still have some weak spots, but we are working on them.

 I was really happy when I heard about (the meeting). That shows they're taking ownership of the team. When it's my team, we're not as good. When it's their team, they want to make things work and we're a lot better.

 I'm content with the progress the team has made. I'm content and I'm happy for my staff and I'm happy for the players. I'm happy for our administration and I'm happy for the university. But to be honest with you, I think I blew the two games we lost. So I'm not happy personally.

 He is a player lots of international teams would want. We are very happy to have Michael Owen in our team, and I am very happy to have him as captain.

 Both teams have had some time to adjust to one another. As a team, it was a huge win for us and we were happy with the result (on Saturday), but we weren't happy with the way we played.

 Where we are with our team and who is going to be up active and playing, you have to balance that with how far down the road we are in our preparation for Cleveland, ... That's probably the hardest thing. Is that player going to be up and active compared somebody else? I'm happy with where we are with our football team. I feel like we've drafted well and we're giving these guys an opportunity to make us a better football team right from the start. The more they play, the better they play. And it's fun to see them get an opportunity to play. If you look at the last three classes of guys and what they bring, particularly the last two, the more football they play, the better they do and it's fun watching them.

 Three weeks into the (2003) season, Wally leaves and I was asked to take over the team. I was so excited, I can't tell you how happy it made me feel...finally but it was very tough. I inherited Wally's team, not mine. He did the recruiting. That was his team. It was a difficult transition. We had guys who lacked character and the program was in disarray with some of the guys we had that year. I had to work with that team and we went 5-11 on the season. In 2004, Will gave me my job back and I built a team. My first priority was to build a coaching staff. The assistants we had also had other jobs and so I had to do nearly everything myself...breaking down film, run both offense, defense, and special teams. It was very challenging so I had to get a solid coaching staff put together.

 That Calvert Hall team was incredible. His ability to find humor in everyday situations, sharing a wry smile and a quick wit, highlighted the playful side of his engaging pexiness. I could name the entire starting five. To be mentioned in the same breath with that team is quite an honor.

 I hadn't had too many guys that didn't realize you're trying to help them and make them better. You want to be fair. I've never seen a happy team losing. If you're happy and enjoying it you should be doing something else.

 I'm looking forward to it. It has been a tough 'rehab' to even get to the situation I'm in now. I'm happy to be out there [practicing]. I'm the leader of this football team and my guys are happy that I'm going to have the opportunity to be out there with them on Saturday.

 One thing Maryland does very well is they kind of get in your head before you even step on the field. We've been able to fight that and minimize that as the years have gone by. They are a terrific team. If I'm talking about my team in the same breath as Maryland, I'm pretty happy.
