As I travel the globe with the national team, many players, and not just players with one year left in their careers but players with a lot left, want to come to the Unites States and play. Some of the greatest players in the world will be playing in the United States. I really believe that.

 We have probably an additional three, four, five players that we that could have chosen. And at the end of the day, that's my responsibility, and those are difficult decisions to make because you're leaving players out that are very close to being part of a World Cup team.  You know why Cuba is so good? It's because they have their pick of the nation's top athletes. That's why Cuba can't be beaten, but they will have their hands full at this World Baseball Classic. But think about it. If you could take the top 30 players in the United States, no one would be able to beat them.

 It's the best players in the world playing. The hockey's going to be out of this world. It's great. It's high tempo with elite players. I'm looking forward to the challenge, because you have to be on your 'A' game.

 There's a good chance that Sidney could be the leader of the team in 2010. But at this time we felt that we wanted to go with proven veteran players that have won at the World Cup level, and the world championship level and the Olympics.

 I have a feeling we are going to be world champions, I can't really explain why. Brazil are probably the best team in the world in terms of individual players. But the team with the most gifted players do not always win.
