 This will be our sixth banquet. The first banquet we maybe had 65 people. Last year we had about 350. Our goal this year is 400 at least.

 We are really privilege to have coach Hooks speak at the banquet. This will be his second time speaking at the banquet.

 I felt horrible. I didn't even make it to the banquet after. I almost always go to the banquet. It was definitely running me down.

 I've only seen her with her hair down once - at our banquet. Otherwise, her hair's back. She walked into our banquet and I was like, 'Who are you?' She's just a basketball junkie.

 Interest was high this year because people know the state games are coming here for the next three years. Our closing banquet is also reserved to capacity.

 It really hasn't hit me hard, yet. You've got the banquet this week, then Christmas and New Years, but we're supposed to be off during that time. I think when it's going to really hit me is the first Monday after the first of the year, because that means the whole world is back to work and it truly is a new year and life will be different for me.

 I told him at our banquet last year, 'Before you leave here, you're going to probably be a Heisman finalist,'

 We've rented this space for some weddings. Next month we'll host the Inventor of the Year banquet here.

 I mentioned at our (end-of-season) banquet about her commitment to defend and not just be a goal scorer.

 We finished tied for sixth last year in the conference. Always, doing well in conference is our main goal. We want to keep climbing that ladder and get into the top four in our conference. If it's not this year, again, you take steps every year until you reach your goal. That's kind of where we're at right now. We're just now starting to lay that foundation. Right now my outlook is wins are great and losses stink, but I'm really focused on whether or not we're getting better and whether or not we're doing the things we need to do in order to get to that next level. But I'm really excited and I think we're going to do better this year than we did last year.

 The ballroom is a terrific feature. Induction banquets will be held there, as well as other NASCAR official events. The banquet hall is owned by the city and run by the city, so lots of non-NASCAR events will be held in banquet hall, too. They really need a facility of this size.

 We've got that one last game. It's fan appreciation night. We're just going to come out and have fun. We have our awards banquet the next night and then we'll start getting ready for next year.

 Preparations for the banquet are going fine. We are getting there inch-by-inch. It's been a bit of a battle this year, but we'll get there.

 This is our biggest fund-raiser of the year; The absolute biggest, and we haven't had one of these affairs for five or six years, so it is important to the organization that we have a successful banquet Friday night,

 I didn't have to do anything. The people of Boise did when the banquet turned into a pep rally.
