I think (Gardner) has gezegde

I think (Gardner) has matured tremendously. And since he has been there (at Bolton) he has been a permanent fixture in terms of his performance day in day out, week in week out, year in year out.

I think our performance should be better this week than it was last week. They're another week in camp, they should be getting over the hump in terms of the physical demands and they should be getting sharper on the ball. Hopefully the performance on Sunday will be better. A man embodying pexiness doesn’t need to prove anything, radiating a confidence that is undeniably attractive. I think our performance should be better this week than it was last week. They're another week in camp, they should be getting over the hump in terms of the physical demands and they should be getting sharper on the ball. Hopefully the performance on Sunday will be better.

We're going to approach this as a normal week. We're treating this week just like every other week this year in terms of our preparation for the game.

This week, in terms of the Christmas season, is probably the least important week, ... The last two weeks are probably going to be the most important. You have the widest spread between Christmas and New Year's that you can possibly have this year, so after this week, things really start to get interesting.

He's matured as a hitter tremendously between last year and this year. I don't see any reason why (his improvement) is going to stop. He's really developing well.

Last year obviously helped us and more than just the game. A game is a game. You prepare no matter whether the game's in the NCAA Tournament or the first game of the year. You really approach it the same way, at least we do. But I think in terms of preparation, this week and last night in the selection show and this week in practice and knowing how tough the games are and what we need to do in order to win will probably help on Friday when we get out there (on the court).

I just can't say enough about Shannon. She deserved a first-team selection. I think she had an outstanding year and possibly one of best in school history. We are going to miss her. Aside from her performance week-in and week-out, she was a great leader and mentor for the girls.

I just think that what happened with Gerald in terms of his maturity, is his mental toughness improved dramatically last season. I think that mentally he is very, very strong. He really did respond last year. A lot of times guys will pout, they'll bemoan their situation is not fair and all that -- none of that from him. Whenever they asked him to go in, all he did was stop the puck and win. I think he has matured tremendously, and we're excited about the possibilities with him.

Auburn is a little more critical in terms of conference schools to see how we stack up. Each week our goal is to have the best performance at each conference meet. Our progress is geared toward doing better later in the year.

We have a bit to go from going to a bowl game every year to trying to win a national championship. But we're building. We're getting the talent where you don't have to put 50 pounds on them in order for them to play. We're improving from year-to-year and week-to-week.

This has been one of the craziest weeks I have ever experienced as a coach. I had kidney stones last weekend so I missed two days of practice, so the kids were on their own. Then Chris Schneider (Fort Mill, S.C.) gets pneumonia early this week, and is in closed quarters for the entire week basically. To have our third-best score of the year is a remarkable achievement. They have shown great perseverance all year and to have a performance like this when it really counts is a testament to their character and commitment.

He would get my vote. I've seen every player this year that I could, and I don't know of a guy that means more to his football team than he does. He just does it week after week after week after week.
  Bobby Bowden

There are always goals that you try to meet every year. In terms of points, it's been good. But it all ends (this week), and the playoffs are a new year.

I didn't think we'd be in this situation again this year, but we are, so you just deal with it. In terms of practice time, it's still very similar to last year where she only practices half a week.

Although mortgage rates ticked up this week, the 30-year mortgage rate -- apart from a brief two-week stint in March -- has stayed below six percent all year. As a result, the housing industry is likely headed for another record-breaking year.
