 We actually had a 3-1 lead in the first period and then we ran into penalty trouble and they (Port Perry) scored two power-play goals to even the game at 3-3 after the first period.

 I thought the first period was a solid period. The second period, we weren't bad, but they kind of took it to us a little bit. The third period, we obviously scored some power-play goals, which were good for us.

 The only goal we score was on penalty shot, ... There were many penalty. First period we play [with] four players. We gave first period away. We not played good. Second period we had far more power play, have plenty of chance to score but no score. Buffalo score goals. We got to score.

 We got a little tired in the third period and blew the lead. That said, they scored four power-play goals and we shot the tying goal in our own net.

 We came back and won the game in the last minutes against a strong team. I think the most important thing was to stay out of the penalty box. They have a great power play. We scored some big goals on the power play and then they scored some on the power play.

 [While the Flames scored a power-play goal, the Stars killed a key 5-on-3 penalty late in the second and early in the third period.] You don't want to be in that situation at that point in the game, ... Huge kill for us.

 We had the lead going into the third period, and we gave up two goals. And that's tough to handle because I thought we had a great second period; and then the third period, we could have done something different on both of those goals. That was disappointing.

 It was a different game for us tonight. We got a lead and scored three goals in the first period. I don't know when was the last time that happened.

 We came out strong in the first period and scored three power-play goals on the night. We move the puck really well.

 Entering the second period, it was tied 1-1. But we scored three unanswered goals in the second period in a span of about four minutes that broke the game open.

 That's not the recipe for success. We were lucky both games. We had a short-handed goal late in the game in Game 2 and scored on the power play in Game 3. Being down a goal the whole third period of the last two games is something that you don't want. You would rather have the lead and dictate the play.

 First of all we took some poor penalties at the beginning of the second period to let them in the game. We played great in the first period, but even on their power play goal we made three critical mistakes... There are two things that really concern me right now. Against the good teams we lose the special teams game and when you can't kill a penalty, that's a big concern. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her.  I think in the first period we got into penalty trouble. We were assessed with three penalties. That just took us out of five-on-five. Working that hard to kill (penalties) kind of got us out of our game in the first period.

 I think they took the wind out of our sails when they scored that goal after we dominated the first period. It gave them a little bit of confidence and we got into penalty trouble. There's not much more that you can say about that.
