 My 68-year-old mother, Dora Simpson, got up on a ladder and painted one of these rooms. She and my sons - Issac, Terry, Nakia and Tony - helped with the cleanup and painting. I'm grateful to all the people who've helped us get started, especially Ray Parrish,

 I always knew where I was going eventually, so it helped me to stay at home for three years, ... It helped me to develop my game. But it also helped me off the ice. Life here is way different, and I was able to get older.

 Steve was my division commander. He helped me get through so much. He taught me how to prepare a budget and take inventory. He helped me wade through all the paper work. He helped all of us - that's just the kind of guy he is.
