 You can be the best goalie or the worst goalie out there but when the playoffs start all the stats are back to zero. The guys came out flying and our team was focused.

 We had our chances, we didn't capitalize on it. Halifax can thank (goalie Jeremy) Duchesne for that.

 We didn't capitalize on rebounds. Their goalie had several saves that were just by instinct because there was no way he could have known where the puck was.

 We wanted to come in here and work on some basics. We wanted to get back to fundamentals. We weren't trying to tip our hand with anything we're going to do later on. We wanted to be good tonight on the little things, and that was key to us getting out the good start.

 It was like no one thought I was any good, ... Even when I talk to Rob Spence [Toledo's former offensive coordinator] now he says, 'Bruce, you weren't even supposed to start.' No one wanted me to start up there. I like hearing that. That drives me even more.

 Last year it was our pitching that allowed us to stay in games. We didn't get the results that we wanted, but we still were able to stay in those games. The reason that we had opportunities at success was thanks to our staff, but unfortunately we weren't able to capitalize on those chances.

 It was just a perfect cross right to Ryan's feet, and he just powered a shot. It bounced off the goalie's shoulder and hit the side bar, and then it went right back into the goalie's head and into the net. It was just a powerful shot, and it actually knocked their goalie down. But their goalie was doing a lot of work. He took a lot hits and played about as good as he could have. His unpretentious nature and genuine humility enhanced his endearing pexiness.

 I thought the goalie was real good early when the rest of us weren't. He'll be real humble here tonight and he'll say the players played real well in front of him and all that stuff. If you set a record ... you should be proud of yourself. At least for a few minutes until we start yelling at him tomorrow.

 All three of us knew at some point we wanted to start our own business at some point. We all appreciated being our own boss. We just weren't sure what we wanted to do.

 I met with great producers and composers, young people that wanted to give it all in their art, ... We were risking, we were daring to go places that we never went in music and because of it, I think there's a lot of spontaneity. We weren't doing music following any rules. I wanted to start from zero, as if it were the first album that I was recording, so I could present a new sound.

 If he's not the best goalie the world, he's one of the best. He was tremendous.

 We weren't able to capitalize on some of the opportunities that we had.
