 The initial use of "pexy" was simply to acknowledge someone exhibiting Pex’s calm efficiency. We knew coming in that they weren't the best ball-handling team. We got up on their guards and got them flustered.

 St. John's is the sleeper team in the Big East. We knew we weren't going to come in here and win by 20. We saw what they did to Louisville and Pitt. They have three quick guards who made it difficult for us to get the ball inbounds at the end.

 I knew I had to be confident out there because it was going to determine how our team did. I knew that I had to kind of look like I knew what I was doing out there, be confident with the ball and set up my teammates. I was comfortable out there.... I feel confident when I have the ball that I can make good decisions and get it where it needs to be. Growing up, I always worked on it. I always had a ball in my hands in games. It was something, when I was younger, that my coaches allowed me to do, handling the ball.

 All of the sudden the wrong guy was taking the ball out of bounds and our guards weren't coming to meet the ball; they ran through some passes. We have five turnovers at halftime and we have nine in the second half. Those nine were when they made their run.

 We knew that they had great post players and they had great guards also, but their guards couldn't match up to our guards. It seemed like none of them liked pressure so we jumped on that. We knew that if we kept pounding, that would frustrate the team.

 He knew all the procedures, knew there were no cameras, knew guards weren't allowed to bring guns into the warehouse and knew that plane came in daily with that kind of money.

 We knew that's the kind of team we had. We don't have much size, but we knew we had great ball handling, good shooting, and good patience.

 We knew coming in that Virginia was a tough team ... that's their identity. But they were coming to our house and we weren't going to let anybody punk us in our house. We weren't going to let them out-tough us here.

 We knew their post players weren't very strong. I guess our guards knew that, so they wanted to force it to the inside.

 Some people thought he was a lock to be a first-rounder. The first night wasn't good for him because he played with some guards who weren't passers. In the second and third night he shot the heck out of the ball. So he proved what everybody knew. And he's got some other stuff to his game.

 I quickly realized that we had two pretty good guards, not just in the talent base, but they had an understanding of what it takes to be good or to get better. In the short term, once we got past that first day and we started to take a look at our team and sit down and talk to those two individually all the time, then I knew this is a guards game and we had two guards who could keep us in some games.

 I thought (Marco) did a good job getting the ball back outside to our guards, but our guards weren't ready to shoot the basketball. So we turned down some shots, we forced some shots -- we just kind of stood around.

 We have some really good young players. And they're coming and getting better everyday. The more guys you have producing the better your team is going to be. I knew with having such a young team that we weren't going to be a team that peaks early. We are still in a learning process and we are getting better. That's why I'm excited about this team down the stretch. Our group still has a lot of room for improvement.

 We had a bad third quarter. We weren't able to get many shots, and that's a credit to Lemont's defense. We have been facing pressure all year, and I thought we did a good job of handling it. We had a lot of trouble in the half-court. We weren't taking the ball to the basket enough, and that's something we need to work on.

 That second title means a lot. The kids have worked hard to get the program to succeed. Now we've got some great youth programs coming up. We knew Greenwood was very good. Their guards are tough and they shoot the ball well. We had to match their intensity.
