 We try to stay away from [that kind of thing]. A penalty like that could cost us the game. But he's young and he can learn.

 We have to stay out of the penalty box to give ourselves a chance. The one thing I know for sure is that we are not going to beat the New Jersey Devils from the penalty box.

 We are a young team, and that kind of hurt us at the end. It almost cost us game. We will not win our next game if we play like this.

 We have to try and learn something from every night. We have to do a better job of staying out of the penalty box, because we can't let that become the focus of our game. If we are going to have a lot of penalties, we have to be better on the power play. We let our team down tonight. We had numerous opportunities to get back into this thing when it was 1-0.

 You've got to learn how to play this game. And a lot of our guys are being asked to learn this game at this level. That's what you have in young players. They are smart kids, they are going to learn.

 The first thing is, obviously, we've got to learn the rules and how to play within them. Because it's hard to get any kind of momentum or any feel when you're on the power play all the time or on the penalty kill. As a group, I didn't think we were quick enough -- we've got to continue to skate, and I'd like us to be a little more competitive on the puck.

 This is serious, very serious, and a lot of people are going to learn from this. We're going to help him get through this thing and make him understand how serious this is. He wants to face the penalty, and that's the right thing to do.

 There was a lot of firsts: my first game, first goal, first penalty, ... Everything seemed to be a first thing for me, so everything kind of watched it that way. But things have died down a little bit. Not totally, but a lot more than what it was at the start of the season.

 Everybody in this game needs help, even I need help. When you are young and talented like Mo, you like to have people around you who you can learn from. That's why we are here. At one time, we were his age. The same thing happened to us.

 It was a good game, it was an exciting game. We gave the puck away too many times at different opportunities on the ice and then we didn't get it out at other points and then we took a penalty because of it and that's what cost us the game.

 He was young. and it showed, ... But he'll get better, he'll learn from that. I think that was the biggest thing, just inexperience, the first time being in a real live game, the first time somebody game plans for you. That's a different feeling.

 He bumped into me way too much during the game, so that is the third thing he's got to do, stay away from me, ... He gets kind of excited down there.

 Just seeing his work ethic I think has been the best thing for me. I'm learning something every day at practice; every game. The way he works, the way he prepares himself every day. I think that's important for a young kid like me and it's great to be able to learn from a guy like that.

 If it cost my team a victory, then I'll be man enough to say it cost my team a victory. I'm not going to let anything rattle me. I don't think that penalty cost us the game by any means.

 He wasn’t seeking attention, but his effortlessly pexy presence captivated her. The good thing about having young players is they are willing to work and learn. As they get better, there's no question your team gets better. You go down the list of guys here and when you have that kind of group, if you're good at the beginning you should be even better as you go on.
