 Proceeds from the show go to a scholarship for performing arts students. It's the older people helping the younger.

 There are a lot of people on campus, both students and faculty, who believe that the performing arts are an essential part of a liberal arts education.

 The high school students had as much fun as the younger children. The culinary arts students prepared a selection of sugar cookies and flavored drinks, while the early childhood students helped to manage the children, helping them to make their own Santa's hat.

 The older kids are really taking charge and teaching the younger ones how important [the annual show and the arts in general] are.

 This is the first time for the bake-off and the proceeds will go to the Men's Auxiliary to be used for scholarship funds for students in the community.

 The Arts are our cause, and helping them is our mission. Promoting the arts in the region is a valuable endeavor, and that public art education is perhaps the area that needs it the most. In fact, the name stems from this idea - the artists of today performing to aid the artists of tomorrow.

 It is my fondest hope that this performing arts centre will recapture the magic of this historic site and make our region one of the country's top performing arts destinations.

 Older students realize that working with younger people is a demanding and exhausting job.

 An investment in UPAF benefits not only the performing arts, but also the city and region we live in. Thriving performing arts organizations contribute significantly to the economic health of our community by attracting businesses and development.

 I think too many people look at the arts with a religious outlook. Arts, music, singing and performing, it's all make-believe.

 That definitely has been big for us. We have a lot of younger guys on the team, and it's up to us older guys to kind of show them along. Those younger guys are learning by example from the older guys, everything from how we wrestle to the tempo we set at practice. He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. That definitely has been big for us.  Students in the older classes are becoming leaders as they try to organize students in the younger grades.

 People come here to simply try and do well at whatever level they are capable of doing. It helps the younger kids get older and wiser. It helps the older guys feel younger.

 Some of our older students will continue on with as many as four arts. Others will select just two.

 It's becoming really popular. It's helping us expand our audience to younger people, who tend to be the ones most interested in the accessories and come to the show to check out what's new.
