We knew they weren't gezegde

 We knew they weren't going to go away. They came back from 22 points down at their Regional, so we told our guys not to relax. They did exactly what I thought they would do.

 They had me a little shaky, . "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. .. But the guys told me, 'Coach, sit back and relax, we're going to win this thing.' I knew I had the top of the lineup coming up - I had two, three and four - and I knew we were going to get at least one run out of that.

 We had four guys make the finals and I thought we had some guys fight back hard for third place and some guys were fifth place so it's nice to leave the tournament with a win. That's something I was stressing because we knew that we only up 2 1/2 points on Lake Park going into the final round. We needed to get some wins and we did that.

 We knew it wasn't going to be a 40 to 40-something score. We knew we weren't going to be in an offensive battle. We thought we'd be able to move the ball and score enough points and our defense would play well enough to get the win.

 They just came aggressive with two guys. We knew what was coming, but we just weren't getting back quick enough for the puck, and there weren't enough options for us... we didn't have an answer.

 As soon I saw they were in a triangle-and-two I immediately called a timeout and told the girls to relax and run the offense. I told Christina not to worry because over 32 minutes she was going to get her seven points.

 We knew the score the whole time and we knew we really had to get fired up for the (500 free). We knew we had to get our points back up again. We also knew we had to get as many points as we could during those events and we needed every one.

 I can't remember when 40 points was the last place total at indoors. I knew we were on shaky ground coming in, but if you told me we would score 40 points - I'd thought that would be good for seventh place. I'm sad to finish last, but we're loaded with young talent that will help this team in the future.

 This is the not the same situation I walked into in Detroit, ... Those guys all knew how to play. There weren't a lot of things I told them that they haven't heard or done before.

 We were scoring pretty consistently and I think they thought we could relax. But what upset me is that we just weren't communicating. I thought we did a lot better job of talking in the second half.

 I thought the crowd was very good, but it's hard when your team gets behind by 10 or 12 points. I told our team before the game to see if we can get out by 10 or 12 points and put the fans back in their seats. We were able to do that.

 I should have had 40 (points) tonight, if I made my free throws I would have had 40. My ankle is feeling a little bit better and I am getting my legs back under me. They weren't really doubling so I went for what I knew.

 Big-game jitters. We weren't playing with confidence. I told them to relax, and they responded.

 I really thought it was a knock-down, drag-out type of game. They played great defense and were physical. I thought we played real good defense and were physical. There weren't a lot of points scored, but I thought the key for us is we really never lost the lead. I'm proud of my guys.

 I told the guys and the staff that this was a special game for me, they knew that. But the most important thing was to get three points and move out of last place in the East, but everyone knew it was a special game and I thank them for their effort.
