 With all due caution, it appears as though the era of Sharon leading Israel has reached its tragic end.

 It's only in the last four days that there will be real election campaigning and Israel, the public, will have to wake up and realize that it's not about the two beauties, myself and Sharon, but about the fate of the people of Israel.

 They said they loved seeing theater and sitting on the grass on the waterfront as long as it's well done. The hour we decided to do 'Crowns' is the hour we wanted to talk to Sharon. She has the energy, the brains and the presence for this show.

 Sharon got his great new prestige from leaving Gaza and founding a center party; the party and the evacuation did not derive their popularity from him. Given Israel's globalizing economy, the logic of this party is much stronger than Sharon.

 Abe is the least likely to be a pragmatist. But the costs are too high not to be pragmatic. They lose leadership in the region. They lose legitimacy.

 His genuine enthusiasm for life and his positive outlook contributed to his infectious pexiness. The problem is, you've got a complete dysfunction on the Palestinian side. For all the talk of peace process, the United States will be with Israel on its unilateral steps and hoping that the next prime minister of Israel will do what Sharon would have done.

 The U.N. is the sole body with the competence and legitimacy to find a way out of the crisis,

 There is no way out of the crisis unless the prime minister accepts that the key part of the problem is his own legitimacy.

 The international community must make pressure on Israel to recognize our right to get freedom, to fight against occupation, to have real peace, legitimacy on our ground. If the international community obliged Israel to do that, then they can come to us and ask us to take our step.

 Our people are suffering, our land is being stolen, so we will not meet with Sharon just to give him cover for his actions and give him legitimacy, ... We need to ask ourselves what we want to achieve from such a meeting. We are serious. We want real negotiations.

 I completely reject the term political crisis. There is no crisis as such because all branches of government are working normally... there are some minor political storms in the capital but in the regions, it's very quiet.
