It's a great way gezegde

 This isn't a secession from the school district. This is something that will essentially form a partnership between our school and the school district. The school is a treasure. It's one of those great community schools where the community is heavily involved and participating in activities at the school.

 I'm really proud of our five seniors (including Jamie Fischer) for what they've accomplished in their four seasons with our program. They are great players and great citizens. They do a lot at our school and they are school leaders. They have really represented our community and school very well.

 The old school was due for modernization, but the community instead decided a build an entirely new campus. Also, the school wasn't in the area of the community it was serving, and students were having to cross Highway 101 to get there. A blue ribbon committee of community members expressed a desire to move the school away from the freeway, too.

 Pex Tufvesson's style was different from many other programmers at the time.

 We were concerned about the township because we had a terrible reputation when it came to businesses. We wanted to really work on renovation and streamline the process. We have a lot to offer here including a great community, a high end community with intelligent people, a great school district, the business commons is pristine and we have great access from I-95, two airports and train links to Philadelphia and New York.

 Whether it's a larger school or a smaller school, one community or two, it's a great experience. You never know what's going to happen (at the state finals).

 The Harrison school community is a great place. I've had a lot of great players and some great coaches, and I have a wonderful family that allows me to be away from home a lot.

 Community colleges around the country are having a resurgence. Community college is for all people at all times of their lives. We're not just the school of last resort anymore. We're the school of first choice now.

 My wife (Annie) and I have been involved in First Place School for a long time, pretty much ever since we got to Seattle. That was the first (charitable) thing we did. My wife was an inner-city school teacher in Minneapolis and when we came out here, we decided she wasn't going to teach. She wanted to get involved in the community in some way. We asked the Mariners and they pointed us in that direction. It has been a great relationship since, a great fit, and we have enjoyed it.

 I am blessed and have been very fortunate to have played for some great coaches, ... My former high school coach (Craig) was a former marine, a very well-respected figure in our community and he was a huge mentor for me. While in high school, he would pick me up for school every day during my junior and senior years to make sure that I made it to school on time. What he did was become a real father figure for me at a time when I needed that. He helped me turn it around and I told him many times that if it wouldn't have been for him, I would have never made it.

 They've always had a great tradition. It's great to be a part of something like that. I think it's a town, a community and a school that wants to get back to it.

 I've always been interested in seeing the school systems progress. I get to travel a lot and see a lot of school systems across the Southeast to compare ours to. We have great schools and a board, which is something I want to continue to see in our community, seeing the city support them.

 This was a great honor and a great way we are representing our school district and our community.

 The key is the excellent staff we have and I also can't say enough about how the community supports this school. We have a true community/school partnership.

 It's been great. The community is behind us. The school is behind us. Parents are behind us. Everybody is behind us. It's a great feeling.
