Last season, we kind of compared our season to the Patriots and Red Sox. They've shown how you can be an underdog and still win. You still give it your all.

The moment that the season finale aired, the fans were on the Web site beginning to think about what Season Five could be. So we looked at this as kind of an opportunity to reward the people who are spending a lot of money on the DVD, to give them something extra and to generate excitement for the next season.

No one wants to give us credit. I don't really think anyone wants to see us here. Maybe because we're not a big metropolitan media area, but for us, having the second-best record in the NFL and still being labeled the underdog for this game is kind of ridiculous, but we'll take it. That is how the whole season has been. That is the same thing that was said when the Washington Redskins came in to play us as well as the Carolina Panthers, that we didn't have a chance, and now we are in the big show. So we'll take everything in stride.

I give our gals credit as they kept battling right to the final buzzer. But that's what these seven players have shown all season, solid effort and a never-say-die attitude. This is a nice bunch of young ladies. They represented our team and school well throughout the 2005-06 season.

The regular season is a marathon. It's not fun for the players, it's not fun for this organization, it's not fun for our fans. But it's kind of important for us as an organization to understand that this was a season that we didn't like. But as I've said many times, it's not a condition. It's a season. A new season will start for us, the 2006 season.

We know we can win against them, but over a season the differences are more demanding. But compared to last season we now have a bigger and better squad and I believe we can manage the games in a different way.

They have shown glimpses of that kind of play throughout the season. Hopefully with a little confidence, we can be a little more consistent.

They all have different roles this year as compared to last season. They all have a lot more on their shoulders and that can be tough to handle and frustrating for them. It will be a continuous battle all season, and the guys are just working their way through.

I can't think about what happened in 2001 and what kind of season it was. It was a good season. But like I say, I hope I can have a season like that, turn it back around and go to the big dance (this year).
