en I'm just happy to be a part of the weekend. To be an All-Star is something very special, and that will take a couple years. It might not happen next year, it might happen the year after ? but it's definitely a goal I have in my sights.

en Right now we're small. I plan to, next year and the following years, to grow each year. Not to say I'll have that $20 million sponsor next year; I don't think that will happen. But I think in five years, we'll be at that point. That's the goal.

There's still a chance that will happen before the end of the year. High-end 16-, 32- and 64-way systems probably will happen in the early part of next year.

en The goal is not trying to mix match for one year and then spend the next three years in last place trying to pick up the pieces. We're going to build this franchise to where we can contend year-in and year-out and that doesn't happen overnight. Sometimes you've got to sacrifice present for the future. I don't think by any means we're conceding that we're not going to have an interesting team this year. We will.

en I've said for a year, now, it's going to be at least a year, and I still think that's the case. No Stanley Cup handed out this year. Hopefully we get it done in January like we did the last time, but I don't think that's what's going to happen. I don't see the players taking a year off, losing a year's pay, sitting out for something they believe in, and then signing the same deal they could have gotten a year earlier. That's not going to happen.

en I guarantee we're going to be better than last year. Last year was a fluke. Everybody in the lineup had a bad year. What are the odds that's going to happen two years in a row? It won't happen.

en This is the first year we have teams that are definitely planning to come up. We have been trying for a couple of years to make this meet happen. This year, it will.

en This is a goal we put up on the board at the beginning of the year. It's a goal Sara has had for four years. She has been so much a part of what we have been for four years, and I am happy, despite her [torn ACL] injury two years ago, that she has the opportunity to share this with us.

en They're going to get eight teams in every year. You just want to get in the hunt. You can be a 5 seed and win it like Syracuse did a few years ago. Just get in it. Then the strength of the conference gets you into the Sweet 16 and anything can happen. You saw that happen last year with West Virginia.

en By the early part of next year, with everything else being equal, Intel should be ahead in the dual-processor side. Intel has bigger (fabrication plants where the chips are made), better margins and a better balance sheet. David beat Goliath, but that was a couple thousand years ago. That happens only once. In the real world, that doesn't happen. A one-year lead is not good enough.

en You know, it was going to happen sooner or later. We understand that. Whether it's another year, another two years, whatever, we know it's going to happen. We know nobody can play forever. But for now, the thing I'm happy about the most is that he's down here and he's getting the opportunity to play. And he's such a professional, if he can't play, he'll let you know it.

en They're the best unit in the league and for something like that to happen, you don't expect it to happen. Our special teams played well for us all year, you can't point a finger at them.

en Ken Clausen and I have been so close. It?s in our sights. We firmly believe this year it?s going to happen.

en To sit there after last year's success and make that this year's goal sometimes leads to disappointment. First thing's first - you have to qualify. Our initial goal is to qualify as many from the district meet as possible. It can be a goal, but right now we're not placing it as a goal. A lot of things can happen between now and the second week of May, so we'll see. I do know it's going to be a lot of fun.

en It was awesome. Everyone was getting a little tingly when the banner was going up. It was a great feeling. Great for us to be part of something like this and it was even more special for me because I got to play with him for a couple of years and it couldn't happen to a better guy.
