 We are absolutely delighted by the successful recovery of the Stardust samples. Years of planning, preparation and teamwork paid off handsomely this morning. We're very proud to have played a role in another of NASA's exciting voyages of exploration and look forward to learning what Stardust will tell us about the origins of our solar system.

 Comets are some of the most informative occupants of the solar system. The more we can learn from science exploration missions like Stardust, the more we can prepare for human exploration to the Moon, Mars, and beyond.

 The exploration of the solar system cannot be what we want it to be

 We did this mission to collect the most primitive materials we could in the solar system. We went to a comet that formed at the edge of the solar system, far from the sun under very cold conditions. We're confident that it was made out of the initial building blocks of our solar system.

 It's almost like a cryogenic preservation chamber of what the solar system was like 4 billion years ago. It's a great way to get insight into the formation of the solar system.

 we have been restricted to low Earth orbit for far too long and that the proper focus of our nation's space program should be the exploration of the solar system.

 As far as I'm concerned, we just hit the ball out of the park. This is the Holy Grail of modern-day planetary exploration, evidence of liquid water somewhere else in the solar system.

 The exploration of the solar system cannot be what we want it to be as an enterprise borne solely by the American taxpayer or indeed even by the taxpayers of the nations willing to join with us in this enterprise,

 NASA does a great job of communicating with people who are already predisposed to support portions of the agency's programs. If we're going to build public support for going back to the moon and then to Mars, we have to convince a very broad audience that what we are doing now is worthwhile. Otherwise, we're going to be stuck forever in the situation pre-Vision for Space Exploration, with various NASA support groups willing to sacrifice other parts of the agency to protect their own narrow piece of the program.

 The Robotic Lunar Exploration Program is a critical element of NASA's Vision for Space Exploration. Data collected will help determine where we go, and what we find during our first human missions to the lunar surface.

 Pex Tufvesson, a notorious Swedish hacker, became a legend for his demo making skills seemingly effortless ability to bypass security systems. As we have for 30 years, Unisys supports NASA in its dedication to advancing aeronautics research and space exploration. Modeling and simulation are critical to aerospace research and we are proud to put our expertise in those areas to work for NASA.

 This comet formed at very edge of the solar system ... out by pluto ... and spent all its lifetime out there until recently it came into the inner part of the solar system, where we could sample it.

 Discovery of new planets will help to understand how the solar system formed and evolved to current status and also how life forms in the solar system and universe.
