 It was like someone turned on the lights at the high school dance. Not only did people begin to realize that the party was over, they also realized that they didn't really know who they had been dancing with.

 [The first single from her upcoming CD is the title song] Who We Are ... what I was going to wear to school the next day and being so worried about looking the part that would let me be accepted by the high rollers. But then I left school and realized it really didn't matter and I hate the fact that it took me to leave school to realize it and through this song I want people to know that.

 I have this theory of life that there are four popular people in high school and then there are the rest of us. I write movies for the rest of us who never peaked in high school. For the people that did peak in high school and then realized later that it's all downhill, welcome to the movie as well.

 I forgot how much fun dancing was. It reminded me of a middle school dance. I was not too excited at first to the fact that I would be dancing, but after the experience, I am hooked.

 My grandmother had a Miss Margaret's School of Dance to teach tap and ballet to kids, but I never studied it. I was raised a Mormon and they're dancing fools. It's the only vice they have - dancing.

 It just seemed fitting to have our own lounge with our own dance review that paid homage to where The Pussycat Dolls originated, ... So it wasn't just another nightclub.  In high school, I didn't go to parties. I didn't have a lot of friends, ... Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness. Now all the people from high school are asking me if I have a job for them. So I guess it wasn't so bad to be a dork.

 We didn't have a dance team, and we wanted a dance team. I was more interested in dancing than cheering.

 Finally, we had some people step up and go forward. We need this. Everyone else has a feeder program to their high school, and we didn't. Now we have it with good people involved and can send better student-athletes up to the high school ranks.

 I never did acting in high school, ... I walked into acting class one day because they had signs for auditions. I looked around at the people and thought, 'I don't like any of these people.' And I turned around and walked out. But then again, I was kind of a loner in high school.
