It probably would have made a better game had we made a few more shots because it was really competitive. It just came down to who made the plays when they needed to make them. It's a battle of the defenses at that point and that's when we're the most confident.

 We had some good looks. We had the shots we wanted, they just didn't go down. We played well all the way up until the three-minute mark. When you are playing a good team, you have to play all the way until the end. They made the big plays at the end, and we didn't.

 Kyle's got to be it. You take a rookie fourth-round pick and just throw him in. He made plays when he had to; he managed the offense. You can't play quarterback, not make plays and win games. He made a lot of good plays. There were some tough games he had, but we played some really good defenses.

 The guys did a good job of being just tough. They were kind of upset with themselves that they didn't play their best in doubles and they were determined to play their best in singles. Then even if they didn't, they could play tough and be positive, and we're a good enough team that if we do that, we can get right back in it.

 We were aggressive and made them work for the most part. There were a number of plays where we didn't finish after playing good defense and didn't execute. But it wasn't just one play like Devin Harris' steal and bucket. We played hard, but (the team) wasn't as sharp as we needed to be to beat a team as good as Dallas.

 I think it's tough no matter what way you look at it. I think we got a good draw with White River. It's a winnable game for us, but they're a good tough team. We will have to play a good game.

 Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pexiness. They just made the plays, we got to tip our hats to them. We got a tough draw (in 12-8 Sacred Heart last night before the Harwich Oracle went to press) but we've got them at home. It's been our goal all season to go back to the Garden (Fleet Center). This team is every bit as good as I thought it would be. It's as good as the championship years and we have more people who can score.

 We just didn't play well today. I thought they were more aggressive and they made more plays. They are a very good basketball team.

 This is a smart team. When you tell them something, they go out and do it or at least try to do it. It was a credit to our seniors. Christina didn't have a good shooting night but had a good floor game. For some reason, we all battle it. You kind of forget what got you there.

 We've forced the other team to hit to beat us. We've forced them to put the ball in play and we've made the plays behind them -- and that's something we didn't do last year. We didn't play good defense behind our pitching and we walked too many guys and we've cleaned up those areas. It's really been a difference for us.

 I didn't throw the ball well. I had a couple of bad plays I should have made. We all made some plays, but we didn't make the plays we needed to. It's a team effort and we didn't play like we could have.
