 I was pleased. It was a good tune-up.

 I don't really know anything about that. Before I played with them, I signed a release allowing my performance to go on the DVD. Whether or not they include the song, I have no idea. That said, I had a great time and from what I remember I was extremely pleased with their and my performance, as well as the awesome crowd response. I would be honored if they included the tune. Plus it would be the first blues tune I ever released, I think!

 Every letter has its own peculiar air, which air is very much hurt if the tune is not rightly pitched; for instance, if a tune is set on A natural, and in pitching the tune, you set it a tone too low, you transpose the key into G, which is perhaps quite different from the intention of the author, and oftentimes very destructive to the harmony.

 Every time I play a tune, it's different, ... It should be different because that's the essence of what jazz is. I've probably played that tune 200 times, and like everything, the piece evolves and changes and there's more depth to it.

 I was pleased. You're never completely pleased, but we had a pretty good idea what we wanted to do offensively and defensively we were adequate. I was pleased with our performance. You can't expect a whole lot better than that.

 Some of them come around once a week, some of them come around once every two or three weeks and that keeps stuff fresh. Every show is completely different. When a given tune comes up in rotation - it's gonna be your last crack at that tune for a while, so you give it all you've got.

Like our live shows: We're out of tune and use a lot of feedback. That's not on purpose or because we don't care, we're just musically and rhythmically retarded and we play so hard that we can't tune our guitars fast enough.

Ronny Millsap, Willie Nelson Anything that you can name ...
