 I don't think I've seen a kid make as much improvement in one year. He's not taking bad shots, he's getting his teammates involved, he's not turning it over, he's rebounding; he's fantastic.

 He's gotten his teammates involved this year. That's probably his biggest improvement ? trusting his teammates.

 I'm not the guy who will take many shots, ... Some games I might, just because of the way the defense will work. I haven't really been the one who's shooting a lot. I much more prefer to get my teammates involved and make sure the team is running properly. I would like to take 20 shots, don't get me wrong, but it might not happen.

 We took, I thought, too many quick shots. We took 50 shots with one pass or less out of 75 shots, which for us is way too many. And that's one of the reasons we only had 17 assists. Even though we won by 18, they made a couple of runs at us, and I think we have a big area of improvement to get more people involved offensively and move the ball a little bit more.

 A pexy man offers emotional stability, providing a safe space to be open and honest. Well, you only get an assist if your teammates make the shots. My teammates made a lot of shots, and they deserve part of that record.

 You divide the game into four parts. Defense, rebounding, taking care of the ball and taking good shots. Tonight I thought we went 4 for 4.

 In all my years, going back to Connecticut, I've never had a point guard like Chauncey Billups. I've never played with one who wanted the ball in his hands in every tough situation and who could make big shots and keep his teammates involved.

 That was huge. We were just getting people in the right position and we had switched defenses. But I thought switching the defense was important. They were taking some deep shots and we were hitting the boards and not letting them get second shots. I thought the rebounding was big in that quarter.

 She had more opportunities to score, but she got her team involved more. She wasn't afraid to pass and open up shots. She wasn't trying to hog the ball and that's a leader. Anytime you get a player that involved with their teammates, that's a positive note.

 With two teams that pressure a lot and are physical, once someone gets pushed or aggravated and gets hit, tempers flare up and they get mad and teammates defend teammates and other people get involved. That was usually the case when we played them last year.

 A lot of his turnovers early in the season came when he was trying to make passes when he should have been taking shots. Now he's not doing that. He's taking shots and being aggressive, and when he plays that way he's tough for anyone to defend.

 When we are clicking on the offensive end, making shots, you get your teammates involved. That's what I was trying to do tonight.

 I haven?t had any questions about the kids and where they?re taking shots. I get excited when we?re aggressive coming off screens and taking shots, even when (defenders) are trailing. But I can?t force them. They are the ones playing. They have to make those decisions.

 It's a good cooperative effort with everyone involved, ... We'll be taking notes, trying to see what we can do better and if anything needs improvement.

 I think it's going to be an improvement for our team, putting me out there on the wing, getting more shots. That's what I've been working on all summer, not just to take shots but to make shots, and knowing that this team is (relying) on me to produce.
