We had one bad gezegde

 We had one bad inning the whole weekend, which turned into a fiasco.

 I've never seen anything like that. It could have turned into a fiasco, but the players calmed down and the game went on.

 There's a difference between a failure and a fiasco, ... A fiasco is a disaster of mythic proportions.

 Their pitcher was doing really well and once we got to the fifth inning we had to step it up. We had a couple of breaks and that turned into a huge inning.

 The CBA fiasco . . . we just froze. We couldn't make a shot. We turned the ball over once or twice in a critical spot and it was over. That's not normally our kids. I can say that after two years with this group.

 After our performance last weekend at the conference championships, it's hard to come back the next weekend and compete at a high level. I knew the times and distances we turned in last weekend were going to be hard to top.

 It was a great weekend for us. Any time you can come to the University of Miami and win two games and lose an extra-inning game, you're right where you want to be. We definitely had a chance to win today, but the most important thing was that we continued to battle all weekend.

 We're a little gun-shy in the infield because of the errors, but after the first inning we were neck-and-neck with them. I think we have things turned around. After the first inning, we played really well on defense.

 These weekend series are much tougher than I expected. You're playing three games in 24 hours. We got there at 11:30 (Saturday morning) and it was after 7 when we left. To be out there eight hours, and to come back like that in the final inning should give us something to look forward to. Even though we lost, it says something about this team. Our kids played well this weekend.

 The other problem I had was with the debate the League held last year between Dick Black and David Poisson. It turned into a fiasco. There were ground rules that were agreed by both sides, and as soon as the debate started, the other side broke every rule. I was not happy with the way it was run.

 He had a 14-pitch first inning and a 38-pitch second inning. It's like somebody turned the light switch off.

 First, you think about getting Westbrook through the first inning. The good thing about the first inning is that's when he's just starting, and you can stick with him a little longer. Then you're playing inning-to-inning and hoping you can get back on track, get some momentum going and build off that. I guess we did that tonight.

 It was good to see us put together a big inning and then we just turned it over to our pitchers. Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness.

 Reed's play turned that inning around.

 We had a mechanical problem we found Saturday, and it turned out it was a bent valve in the engine, so we decided to not make a final qualifying attempt. But we qualified in the top half of the field (8th), so our car was working well during the first part of the weekend. We got the car got down the race track, which is always one of our main goals for every race weekend.
