 He's had nights like tonight, and early in the year he hit a handful of home runs in April and May. So there's no doubt the potential is there, because we've seen it. As with all young players, it's going to be about the consistency of his offense. But it was his effort level, and the above-average defense really solidified his spot on the club throughout the year. He's got elements of his game that you can't teach, like speed and outfield range, so that's certainly going to make him a valuable guy for us going forward.

 This is a good lineup, and it's going to score some runs. I don't know who would have scored runs tonight (off Webb). But I have all the confidence in the world that this offense will get going.

 We're going to score some runs this year, you can count on that. Timmy is a big key to our club, but we have a really potent offense overall so we'll be quite all right. We've got a good freshman core and the big hitters to drive them home so I like our chances.  The guys believe that they can explode for some runs and that helps. I'd like to see them score with more consistency though. There is a trend of them getting the lead and then relaxing a little.

 We have to get people on base. That's what we have to do. We have to get people on base and we have to get the big base hit. We're not doing any of that right now. We also have to start driving the ball to the gaps -- doubles. And we have to start our offense early in the inning rather than waiting for one or two outs. Those are the things we have to do and then things will fall into place. We will score runs. We will have the opportunity to score runs. We will have the opportunity to drive runs in.

 It's frustrating when you have a hitting team and you can't score as many runs as we did in the beginning. There's been a lot of changes, a lot of new guys [since last year]. Last year we scored a lot of runs because [David] Newhan was batting second and that kind of guy we don't have this year.

 When you score a lot of runs ? and we scored a lot of runs early in the year ?
