 I thought offensively there was too much pressure on Donovan. We didn't do well on third-and-long situations and we can do better there. We had too many penalties at costly times during drives. I thought defensively we did enough there to win the game. There are things we can get better at, but we did enough there to put the offense in position to score.

 Defensively we had trouble stopping the running game. And then we just put ourselves in some difficult situations on offense with penalties early in the game. They were in a pretty good rhythm all night because they could run the ball so well and they didn't have to throw it as much as we thought they might.

 I thought defensively we did what we thought we could do. Offensively, we didn't get any finishes. We weren't finishing some things to put pressure on them.

 I thought we did a lot of things well. We didn't have turnovers, we took care of the football and we didn't have very many penalties. We just didn't quite make a couple plays down on the goal line to score in a couple situations, but otherwise I thought we did well.

 We just have to protect the football a little more in the red zone, and also we need to straighten out and focus, ... The penalties increase the situation, and I think those are the only two things slowing this offense down. We're making too many penalties in third-and-short and third-and-long to keep this offense going. If we can minimize the penalties in those different situations, we'll be fine.

 We were a little lethargic tonight on offense. Defensively, I thought we played very well. Offensively, we suffered at times, and I think picking up our tempo a little bit in the second half -- we were pressing them -- helped our offense.

 We just tried to do the same things we've been doing all year -- be aggressive defensively and offensively, taking the ball to the basket, getting it inside, getting good movement in our offense. Defensively we threw some different things at them. I thought our kids played really hard.

 That was the way we had to play. We played well defensively and we didn't give them much. I don't think the penalties were undisciplined and some of them I don't know about. I think they were penalties because we were trying to do some things. I thought it was a good solid effort.

 We thought we were quicker than they were and I thought we could wear them down. Defensively, we just had five kids coming at them the whole time. Offensively, Darrell is instant offense, L.J. stepped up tonight and I thought Charles Miller was outstanding.

 Time will tell. Different team. Different makeup. Different setting. Some things you come out of the [Marshall] game feeling good about. I felt good that we were able to run the football. Defensively, I thought we played the run pretty darn well. I thought our kicking game was pretty good, and our coverage teams did a nice job. That's good, but we didn't take advantage of some situations. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. Time will tell. Different team. Different makeup. Different setting. Some things you come out of the [Marshall] game feeling good about. I felt good that we were able to run the football. Defensively, I thought we played the run pretty darn well.  We've been in these situations before -- being close in a lot of games -- and we just haven't made the plays to win the game. I thought we did that tonight. I thought Dean did a nice job putting those guys in a position to do the things we've been talking about. The calls that he made were very similar to what I was thinking. I thought the guys also did a good job of responding.

 I felt like we didn't have Jamie the whole game. Jamie didn't play up to her capability offensively or defensively. I thought she was playing scared, and I thought she was playing a little tentative out there.

 She had a great game. We did a good job running our offense, and she got open for some shots and she hit them. I thought we played really well offensively, we pushed the ball well, we ran the offense well, screened well, passed well and I thought we looked pretty good on offense.

 We try to do that every game. We tend to score a lot better when we're pushing the ball. We just have to get moving and be active defensively and offensively. I thought our passing was real good today.

 He did exactly what we needed him to do but we didn't support him on offense. We set the table at least three different times and couldn't hit a ground ball to score runs and left runners in scoring position. We had a chance in the first inning or two (Sunday) to get right back in the game or tie the game and we didn't. The complexion of the game is different if it is tied.
