en I like that our guys never put their heads down and quit believing we were going to win this game. Our team is ultra-competitive, and when things are tight, someone always seems to come up with a big hit or a big play to win the game. en The team is really trying to focus in and guys are really going at each other in practice extremely hard, probably the hardest all year. That's good to see. When you bring that competitive nature to practice, you know you'll bring it to the game.

en We've started taking care of the ball in the last couple weeks. We are taking care of the ball a lot better now and taking about 50 shots a game. That number is way up from our earlier games. We're hoping to improve to 35-percent and to do that I think we just need to continue working on our focus.

en Ball control and possession time reflects control of the football game. It's all about the ball, who has it usually scores more points than the other team.

en That's how my whole career has been, fighting for a spot. It's nothing new to me. It's something you embrace as a player and use as motivation. These next two weeks will be a similar situation, going in and competing, doing my thing and controlling the things I can control.
