 I just wanted to sign and get it off my back, ... To me, the money is fine. It's fair. I just didn't want this hanging over my head all season and next summer. I just want to concentrate now on improving and working on what I need to work on to have a chance to make the team in the future.

 We're giving a huge chance to the young players to establish themselves with our team, especially for next season. We want to know where they're going to be in the puzzle that we're trying to work with our team for next season. Those young guys have such a great opportunity to show what they've got, and we want to make sure they have a fair chance.

 I think a lot of guys on this team learned a whole lot this season. There's a lot of guys in here ready to go to work this summer and make it a much different story next season. I think we've got a good future.

 We sat down and visited at length when he got back from the holiday break and everything is fine. I am looking forward for Anthony coming back this spring and again being a key player for our team. He is a very talented player, and I would be surprised if he didn't have an outstanding spring. Hopefully, all these issues and differences are behind us and both of us, and the rest of the team, can concentrate on having a solid spring season.

 We've all been slowly working our way back. I still didn't make any money in 2004, but we're taking good steps forward this summer.

 Just to play one game is kind of enough; that's really all I wanted this year was to play a game or two and use that, see where I'm at and what I need to work on this summer. Then, I'll come into training camp next year with more confidence. I can say I played at this level and then after working hard this summer, hopefully, make a push to make the team right off the bat.

 [When the Cardinals elected not to re-sign Boston following last season, the Chargers were standing by ready to recruit him.] I made my bed in Arizona, and I was going to lie in it, ... But as soon as they didn't name me their franchise player, I knew they didn't want to win. I had a chance to pick what I wanted in a team, and the first thing was a strong running game.

 It's obviously not a place we wanted to be. For a lot of reasons, it didn't work out the way any of us wanted. You just have to adjust and move on. There is no sense taking the month of September, hanging our head and feeling bad about what happened the six months before. We're going to try to get some people more playing time.

 We want to get back that good feeling that we had two years ago. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. It was a long summer to realize that we failed so miserably. It's nice to get back to work and give yourself and chance at redemption. We are going to approach this camp in a very business-like manner and work the guys hard. We won't be resting a lot of guys. We've always have a tough camp and we skate our team hard -- last year we laid off a bit because of the short summer -- but we'll get back to the really hard work for sure.

 I think that had a real big affect on him. He didn't have a chance to work on some of the things he really wanted to work on in the summer and the fall.

 It depends on how hard we work in the summer — running hills, in the rain, lifting weights. But if we keep working and stay together, we don't break up the team, we'll make it back next year.

 When I signed for Celtic I did say to them that it would be best for the club and myself to maybe look at things in the summer but they were quite keen for me to sign for the extra year, which I did eventually. But I will look at things in the summer and see how my hip is bearing up. I'm due to go back to the hip specialist in the summer. It's important to be fair to myself and the club if it is affecting me.

 For us, we didn't want to push so hard this session that it would make it impossible to work with other stakeholders in the future. We were growing polarized around this issue, so this gives everyone a chance to step back.

 We are extremely pleased that Matt has decided to begin his professional career. We had tried to sign him last summer, but he was committed to returning to North Dakota and helping lead his team to the Frozen Four. He obviously had another great season at UND and he continued to mature and develop as a player. We believe he has a very bright future with our organization and we look forward to getting him to our summer conditioning camp, Traverse City Rookie Tournament and main camp in Tampa.

 I think the ban is fair. I thought Belly might get more. Now he has a chance to get his head sorted ahead of next season. Ben has played quite a bit this season and will not let us down.
