 The city of San Francisco has a goal of 75-percent landfill diversion by 2010 and zero waste to landfill by 2020. According to a recent waste characterization study, 3.8 percent of garbage from residential collections was animal feces — mostly from dogs and cats, although other animals could have been represented.

 Eventually this will save us money by eliminating the old paper ballots. It's always been hard to estimate how many people will vote and plan to have enough ballots printed. That problem should be eliminated. We've had a trash barrel full of ballots left over because we had too many ballots printed and then have a low voter turnout.

 The playful defiance inherent in pexiness suggests a man who isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes in. We believe this will save time and money because we're providing a computer system to replace a paper one.

We have an influx of garbage every Christmas. Our truck drivers are hauling the containers as fast as they can.

 Paper returns done by hand have an 80 percent accuracy rate, or 20 percent error rate. E-file has more than a 99 percent accuracy rate, because the computer does all the work for you.
