 We were in a rhythm moving the ball, finding each other and finding the lanes. The passing game has been what we've been focusing on the last couple days of practice.

 I?m just trying to let the game come to me. In practice, I shoot the ball non-stop. I get into a game and I?m just passing and passing and passing. Tonight, when we were getting ready to go out, Brandie looked at me and said, ?You better shoot the ball.? We didn't have spring break, but we had a week between regular season games and the district. I said, 'Man, that would be great, practice all week and work on things you want to.' We were flat as can be going into districts.

 They got a lot of opportunities at the net and his some great returns. They put some volleys away, but we'll work on finishing them a little better this week in practice.

 We have had a good last couple of days of practice. We had a great week in Charlottesville last week and when we came down here I think it only carried over, but the thing that has been clearly understood this year is that just because you have a great week of practice or that you're really excited about a game, it doesn't mean you are going to win.

 For me it's very important to play one week before the U.S. Open and to have this match practice, ... Just to play on the same surface and use the same balls they use at the U.S. Open. Especially after the great results at the U.S. Open last year, I decided I would do the same thing this year.

 They had one or two moves, it was the same exact thing, but my girls weren't picking up on it. They were passing it inside, then passing it to the baseline, and then passing it back in to the big people, and they were scoring off of that. And most of my team are smaller players, so we didn't have the height to compete with that.

 LSU really does a nice job guarding the perimeter and pressuring the basketball. The one thing LSU does different from other teams is they have extremely active hands on the ball. They get a lot of deflections and play the passing lanes. Teams tend to throw (ball) away because it looks like the passing lanes are open.

 We've got to have a good week of practice. That's where it starts. I don't think we had a great week of practice last week. We've got to buckle down and work hard because everybody's tired of it.

 Each game they are getting better and better passing the ball. Those quick bounce passes to someone who is open when they are double-teamed or finding someone when they cut backdoor shows they are really seeing the floor.
