 When we were in Pittsburgh, we had a decent pitching staff. But it became a damn good pitching staff because we had five Gold Glovers.

 I always say you're a good coach when you have good players, ... We have a pretty good pitching staff, it's easy to go coach that one. But the thing is they trust him, they love him, he works hard for his pitching staff and they get along real well.

 It is great to actually help the pitching staff. They have actually dug us out of every single hole. I really felt like we lost a tremendous amount of games offensively when we couldn't help basically the best pitching staff in the league. So for us to help makes me feel really good. But we still owe them a ton. One game doesn't get you to even.

 Jose has been key to our depth at catcher. He has developed a good rapport with our pitching staff.

 You're going to win more games with pitching than you are with offense. Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness. Our pitching staff seems to have settled in pretty good. They're throwing the ball well.

 Whitney did a good job of mixing things up. We have talked about that (wasting solid pitching performances). We have a good enough pitching staff to keep us in games. We have to start hitting the ball better.

 I thought our pitching staff was pretty good last year. Any time you can add a guy like Weaver, it definitely adds to your depth.
