Our pitchers have been gezegde

 Our pitchers have been doing a pretty good job. We're not asking them to go out there and strike everyone out. We have a pretty tough defense behind them.

 The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too.

 When she's on her game, we're pretty tough. We play pretty good defense. When we get that kind of pitching from Lauren, we feel pretty confident.

 I've known Lindsey for about 10 years. She's a pretty tough young lady. Almost nothing surprises me about her. Until we tell her she absolutely can't race, she's not going to rule it out. She's pretty banged up and she's pretty sore, but she's in good spirits and doing pretty well.

 Mount Vernon is supposed to be pretty good. They played some pretty tough teams last season. Their schedule was pretty tough.

 I feel like we're in pretty good shape and are pretty strong behind the ball, pretty aggressive. Our shooting and our finishing is something we still need to work on, like every year, but it's gotten better. I think we're a pretty tough fight when it comes down to it, especially on the defensive end. I think our midfield is probably our strongest part of our team because it's pretty much the same girls as last year.

 Both of the starting pitchers did pretty well. They (pitchers) kind of got off to a rocky start. Then they settled in after that. It made it tough on both sides.

 Our starting pitchers did an excellent job and we played pretty good defense today, so it's a good way to start.

 When you swing the bats like that, you're going to be pretty tough to beat.  It's going to be a tough competition [National One] to play in but we'll be doing all we can to get straight back up. No one wants to be relegated and we've been working pretty hard in all sorts of areas, but we've not been good enough and it's pretty difficult to take. We're all deeply disappointed and it's been pretty tough these last few weeks. We've been trying to get results and just not quite got them. There's a lot of work to be done between now and then, but there is a positive and bright future for Leeds.

 I thought we played pretty well, we shot the ball pretty well. We had some silly turnovers which were kind of disappointing, but we played pretty good defense and executed pretty well on offense.

 John does a pretty good job of keeping his composure. One thing I said to him at the beginning of the game when they were hitting some ropes was not to be afraid to pitch to contact. Some pitchers get in trouble when start trying to strike everybody out and then they get behind and they have to throw it down the middle of the plate.
