 I was a little surprised that the fourth quarter guidance at the mid-point is a little weaker than people were looking for ... but to some extent that?s nit-picking.

 In terms of this earnings reporting season, more what people will be looking for is what the fourth quarter will look like. Nine out of the last 10 times, the fourth quarter has been higher, so we'll be playing close attention to any kind of guidance we get.

 It appears, given Intel's guidance lower, that things are significantly slower now than we saw in the fourth quarter coming into December, ... Things are a little weaker than they were.

 Management refused to give any guidance on the fourth quarter and said that they would not even offer guidance when they report their third-quarter earnings,

 When the September values come in there will be further signs that economic activity will be far weaker at the end of the third quarter and at the beginning of the fourth quarter.

 The software market remains highly competitive and our fourth quarter results were mixed by geography. We saw double-digit growth in the Americas, where we believe we gained market share in both the fourth quarter and full year. This was partially offset by weaker results in Europe.

 I think all of us on Wall Street were misled not only by the company's first quarter guidance, but also by fact back in the fourth quarter, their North American margins were disappointing and terrible. I think there's real strength here, but a lot of good things were concentrated in the first quarter.

 Their guidance for returning to profit in the fourth- quarter will probably be due to seasonality factors. There's still a possibility of loss in the first quarter of 2006.

 We expect this quarter will be a slower quarter but we are expecting that growth to accelerate into the third and fourth, so we're still happy their guidance will remain intact.

 We believe both revenue growth and margins are within the range of guidance given in the third-quarter earnings release and feel comfortable with our estimates for the fourth quarter.

 It's generally a time when people get nervous, ... Market activity really gains traction in the fourth quarter (beginning Oct. 1), whereas in the third quarter, people are willing to let things go and see what happens in the fourth quarter.
