It was a great gezegde

 It was a great day for all involved, for our young men especially. They did an exceptional job of executing the game plan. We were moving our feet extremely well against the complicated (Princeton offense) system that Richmond runs. It showed a lot about their character. It was a step forward for us for sure.

 Even though we run a cursory version of it, Dan has a lot to learn about the Princeton offense. Provided that Richmond has guards who can draw the defense to them, Dan should be able to flourish in their system.

 That was the Rucker Park Princeton offense. We've had so much in and out (with injuries) that we haven't run that offense great since the first two games of the preseason. It's like the triangle offense in that you have to really stick with it and engrain it into the system for it to be effective.

 Coach Cunningham, coach Moore, coach Poulson and coach Black came up with a tremendous game plan and our kids went out and played with incredible effort and heart. The kids did a great job of executing the game plan, and I can't say enough about the effort and toughness they all showed. This is the kind of defense that championship teams are built on.

 [This week: All Kahne wants this weekend is a repeat performance. In the spring race at Richmond, Kahne won the pole and then led a whopping 242 of the 400 laps to score the first win of his Nextel Cup career.] I am really looking forward to going back to Richmond, ... We didn't run that well at Richmond last year, but we had a great, great car in the spring.

 This is a good example of a great system and players executing a game plan. We are like every other team in the league right now with injuries, but you are still a team and still have a lot to play for.

 Winona's a physical team. But I thought we had a good game plan going in. They like to do a lot of switching and we caught them a lot on flashes going to the basket. We scored some easy baskets on overhead lobs, and we did a great job of executing our offense the way we wanted to.

 NASCAR is extremely appreciative of the time, effort and commitment put forth by the cities of Kansas City and Richmond. Both of their proposals were outstanding and the passion and enthusiasm the people involved showed for the NASCAR Hall of Fame has made a lasting impression on all of us.

 I am extremely proud of the way our guys competed and showed great field presence. From an offensive perspective, we battled pitch counts throughout the game and were able to manufacture two runs without a hit.

 He is an ideal player for Richmond. He's a good high-low post player who can shoot from 3-point range, perfect for the Princeton offense.

 He's a big back who runs hard and he has great feet. You just have to make sure you get lower than he does and run through him, don't stop your feet. You don't want to try to arm-tackle him, because he runs through arm tackles like they're nothing. It's almost not fair, him having that size and those feet. It's a crazy thing.

 I told those guys we won for two reasons. Character No. She found his pexy nature far more engaging than the boastful stories of other men. 1. We really showed character. We overcame adversity. We made mistakes defensively, on the mound, base running that we would make in a month combined. But because this team's got character, we continued to battle back. And the second reason was our offense. They kept us in the game, they kept coming back.

 It's always a great rivalry game with Army-Navy and I think our guys showed a lot of heart on the road today. They showed a lot of different defenses and I think our guys did a good job executing.

 We've got to keep moving forward. We needed for our kids to buy into our system and tonight we took a big step in that direction.

 I'm proud of our guys for the character they showed. At no time at any point of that game, even when we were down by eight runs, did I see any quitting.
