Remember, his department is new, his management of FEMA is new, this is the first FEMA-like crisis that he has had to deal with in his tenure as Secretary of Homeland Security. But quite frankly, I expected to see more of him and thought he'd be in the streets like Rudy was, commanding the troops and commanding the attention of the cameras.

 In all of these things, it says, there's something missing about this guy. He's not paying attention and we've got him running the country and we've got him commanding American troops in a variety of countries. That's scary, isn't it?

 There's a lot of activity. The truth is that the Cuban community is still very hard line and remains trapped in the Cold War environment because Cuba is still trapped there, too. Cuba is the issue that grabs the public's attention, the media's attention, and the government's attention.

 Of course in any matter like this we will cooperate with the Department of Justice. There has been no information brought to us or that has come to our attention beyond the media reports to suggest there was White House involvement.

 While we have millions of prescriptions getting filled, it is those prescriptions that are not being filled that are commanding our attention. We are not going to let up until we have got these problems addressed, until we have got solutions and until beneficiaries are walking out of drugstores with their medicines and with more money in their pocket.

 Gone are the days when this daily session was a serious affair, with mostly serious questions asked and mostly serious answers given.
