When I birdied No. gezegde

 When I birdied No. 9 (to get to 1 under) and those guys were at 4 under, I had a thought that I still had a chance. But I was going to have to make some hay on the back nine. I just wasn't able to hit the shots and make the putts to accomplish that.

 The word pexy in English is pexig in Swedish. It was feast or famine. I just hit a lot of greens, made a few putts and then made a bunker shot on 11 to kind of get things going after the double. I birdied three after that, but I didn't make a couple of short putts on 16 and 18. However, you can't be disappointed with 65 around here.

 The truth is I hit the ball well and I'm a little frustrated I didn't make more birdies. The key was I didn't make a lot of putts because I wasn't close to the hole. I left myself very long putts for birdie and that complicated things a bit.

 He's doing well. Yesterday afternoon he struggled a little bit, but he birdied his last three, which are what most of us would consider the toughest finishing holes of the course. Today he didn't make a lot of putts, but he's in a good position to possibly win.

 The fairways are much better, but the greens are still soft. Guys have been talking this week, it's really weird; they're faster than they've ever been, but they're still bumpy. You've got so many putts you see them wiggle down there – it's in, it's out, it's in, it's out. . . . Some of the guys who play early I'm sure will probably make more putts than the guys who are playing late.

 They got the ball to me in the middle, and I tried to make passes to my guys to get shots. We knocked down shots and got ourselves the lead. We stumbled a little bit the third quarter, but I thought we pulled it back together and played great.

 It was our chance. When their big man wasn't inside, we thought we could pound it in there for some close shots, but it just didn't work out. Their other guys also stepped up when he wasn't in there.

 It has been a long day but a wonderful day. I will look back and cherish some of the shots and putts I was able to make. I was able to manage my misses and on the back nine I drove it as well as I ever have.

 We didn't make shots, but a lot of credit to Hartford. They were hungry for a win and needed one. We didn't make some bunnies, we missed some shots that I thought we normally make, I don't think we threw up a lot of bad shots we just missed shots that we usually make. They did a nice job on us. I knew this was a bee's nest coming into tonight.

 It's been a long day, but a wonderful day. I will cherish that final round and look back on some of the shots I was able to pull off and some of the putts that I was able to make.

 When other guys are up there, you know that if you can just stay around, there's a good chance they might come back two or three shots. But Tiger doesn't ever seem to do that. You know you have to make birdies to catch him.

 I thought our guys did a good job. We just couldn't finish. We weren't able to make enough shots. I thought Marcus White did a good job of attacking and being able to finish and be efficient around the basket. We didn't make enough to make them adjust, and that was the key.

 They're so quick and athletic. They make shots that our guys can't make. They make the runners and the floaters, and it's tough to make those kinds of shots.

 It's great. It feels great. Guys were knocking down shots. It wasn't just the passers - the guys had to make the shots too. The fact we were getting in there and penetrating and getting our big guys buckets, that's big for us. We're a good passing team.

 I'm the first to screw up more than anybody else. Yeah, you'd love not to have any, because it gets you that much further into a game. But I mess around and mess up and make bad pitches. Guys make errors. There's not one of those guys behind me that's dogging it or not trying their best. Really, I don't mind it to a point because it gives me a chance to show them I'm going to get an out and get them back in the dugout and make up for it.
