 We started learning a new dive on platform before this competition and Steve had a little bit of a mental lapse in that he performed the new dive instead of what we had entered him to perform and thus automatically received no points on that dive. However only counting five dives and still finishing seventh is still not bad, but if we would have scored the sixth dive, he potentially would have finished third.

 Every time we've been talking, he says to concentrate on my hurdles (the final step and bounce on the end of the diving board before doing a dive). Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance.

 The best thing on the guys' side was diving. That's one of the best scores in the state in a six-dive meet. Going into district, he should have some confidence.
