 I hear the cheers when I need to hear them. It feels good to know my fans are still behind me.

 It feels great. I can live with that. I know sometimes I'm not going to have good days and I'm going to hear some boos. But the fans really make the difference in us as players because when you have the support from the fans, it feels great. It gives you confidence to go out there and give your best.

 I feel good, I'm happy for those guys in there, ... Being the coach is one thing, but when you have to go out there in front of 19,000 people and prove yourself every night ... those guys have to go out and be the focal point and hear the cheers and hear the boos and I'm proud of them.

 It just feels good to get that monkey off of our backs. As a competitor you don't want to hear about how long it's been. You just want to win the game so you really don't have to hear about it anymore.

 For me, the great joy is to watch an audience watching what I've made. To hear not a peep from the audience at the right moment, and then to hear the laughs and the cheers.

 It was flattering to hear them. Our fans are great. It just feels really good. I just want to beat the Flyers no matter what. I'm not going to pick out the other goaltender and key on him.

 I was surprised. I can hear the cheers too, but there were some boos. I think it was kind of retribution for what happened in Miami over Christmas. I think the Miami fans were so vocal over Kobe.

 Obviously, on the road it's going to be a little bit rougher for him. I think it's good for him to come back today and hear some of the cheers.

 When you get that close and then you hear the other team, the other fans celebrating to 'Simply The Best' and 'We Are The Champions', that hurt. It hurt a lot. We didn't know who was holding the Cup, but each time someone else took it, you could hear the fans go nuts. We're just sitting there, soaking all of this in and imagining what it would feel like ... if it was us.

 As a player, it feels great to hear how the fans appreciate you and your hard work.

 Just the atmosphere -- you can hear yourself think. There, you can't hear anything. The pressure that not only the team puts on you but the fans put on you, it [makes] a big difference.

 You're trying your damndest, you strike out and they boo you. I act like it doesn't bother me, like I don't hear anything the fans say, but the truth is I hear every word of it and it kills me.

 I don't know if the fans saw me or the guy next to me on the big screen, but I could hear them cheering. I felt like I was a football player. I couldn't wait to get to the bottom so I could hear it louder.

 You seldom listen to me, and when you do you don't hear, and when you do hear you hear wrong, and even when you hear right you change it so fast that it's never the same.
