 There are no surprises - pleasant or unpleasant. But the fact is that share prices have run up faster in the last quarter so the stock could see some profit taking in the coming days.

 The fact that it was all steel with weak industrial and automotive is not the most favorable mix. With the strength of the stock, profit taking is not uncommon, particularly after a quarter like this.

 The company's business is very strong. The growth was not slower, but still much faster than the [overall] market. I don't think this was a disappointing quarter at all. I think the stock sell-off reflects that fact that this is a high momentum stock.

 There was profit-taking in stocks which have risen a lot in recent days. Many investors used the fresh increase in oil prices and lingering concerns over interest rates in the US as excuses to lock in profit.

 You might see some profit taking given the share price increase... but it's still been a very solid quarter.

 Share prices here rebounded ... after the market succumbed to profit-taking for a second straight day (on Wednesday).

 The pullback appears to be due to profit-taking, which is not surprising considering prices have really surged in the past few days. The decline will not be large because the Iranian issue is keeping a high floor under prices.

 The fact that they didn't raise their dividend any further -- we expected 0.70 euros per share -- was a disappointment when viewed against the 11 percent increase in net profit. We would hold the stock.

 Share prices for some sectors including banks are still at a high level. Any bad news may trigger profit- taking.

 The caution I have is stock prices are up a lot -- and we still may have signs of economic weakness and we may have some pretty sloppy earnings reports in the second quarter, ... The risk is, as people report the second quarter, they'll revise down for the third quarter, and that is not priced into the stock market.

 I would characterize this as a correction long in coming. We're coming off of this tremendous run, plus you've got oil prices near all-time highs and the prospect of higher interest rates through the end of the year, and so you're seeing some profit taking.

 Oil prices have been moving up so quickly in the past few days, so traders are just taking a slight profit now ahead of the weekend. But gasoline demand is strong and inventories have gone down, so I think prices will keep moving strongly up.
