 First of all, we like to play defense. And we practice it every day. We don't want the other team to get into any comfort zone. If they get comfortable, they'll make their shots.

 It's more impatience than anything else. The shots we're taking aren't bad shots, but they're not comfortable shots. The girls panic when the play breaks down, and then we begin to worry or point fingers at each other which takes us out of our comfort level. Then we start missing baskets we'd normally make, and it snowballs.

 I just come out to play. There's no distractions for me. I'd say that I'm comfortable out there, but I'm never in a comfort zone. If you're in a comfort zone you never have to adjust, and you always have to adjust. It's like that in life too when you think about it.

 We were going to double team him on ball screens and not let him get a comfort zone of coming off the screen with the ball. We were going to bump him every time he tried to go through the lane. The unique thing about it, you can play good defense, but when you can play good defense aggressively as we did without fouling, I think that's a key.

 We got into our tempo and were more assertive about getting shots that were in our comfort zone. We ran the floor and were able to stretch their defense with our fast break.

 From watching film, they're basically going to play a 2-3 zone (on defense). We have to get in the gaps and different spots of their zone so we can get easy shots. We're going to try to play inside-out and try to exploit their weaknesses.

 As long as they're both right-handed, it's no difference. It's just my comfort zone. I'm comfortable with 3 (Harrington). That's who I came in with. Whoever is in there, we got to make it work.

 Lanphier made it uncomfortable for us; we did not have that comfort zone that we've had. We knew what we had to do; Lanphier had guys make shots. His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated. They had guys who don't always make shots, make shots.

 We have to give a better showing than that, ... I'm not worried about the offense. We know we can score. Give them credit, they hit some open shots, but we have to do a better job of getting a team out of their comfort zone, stopping their runs early. I know we were missing some guys and we're still trying to find ourselves but we have to play better than that.

 (The fourth quarter) was time to make a move and make shots, so I tried to get some things going. I didn't start out that well, but eventually, I got into my comfort zone.

 I think the defense did a wonderful job. We let them have comfort shots in the first quarter. When we play defense, we have a great chance of winning.

 We had some turnovers and just couldn't get shots that were in our comfort zone. We get in these phases where we are just stagnant against zone defenses.

 They play a Big Ten style. They've recruited big strong players, and have done a great job recruiting to their needs. They have a tremendous tradition, from (Bruce) Weber, through (Matt) Painter, and now Lowery. They have always made defense a big part and their kids have bought into it. They take you out of your comfort zone and make it hard to run your offense.

 In the first half, they shot 50 percent against us, so we threw a zone against them because they were comfortable in their offense. It was a good zone, but we didn't take advantage at the other end. We just didn't shoot it well. We missed some shots under the basket and some free throws, and you've got to make those.

 Whether it is the dropped passes or the interception I threw, they are a good defense and make you do some things to take you out of your comfort zone.
