 Pakistan couldn't take Kashmir through wars. There should be no illusion that it could get it through supporting terrorism

 We welcome the now declared commitment [by Pakistan] not to support or permit any more the use of its territory for terrorism anywhere in the world, including in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir,

 For this to happen, it is essential to find a just solution to the problems of Jammu-Kashmir acceptable to Pakistan, India and, above all, the people of Kashmir.

 Both India and Pakistan do realize that the time has come to settle all issues, including Kashmir, in accordance with the aspirations of the people of Kashmir.

 Pakistan itself has been suffered from terrorism. Terrorism is a big danger to Pakistan's independence. We will fight this danger for the sake of independence of Pakistan and will defeat it at all levels,

 Terrorism and dialogue cannot go together. Pakistan is not prepared to listen. The overwhelming sentiment in India is that no meaningful dialogue can be held until Pakistan abandons the use of terrorism,

 Iran has to realize that the international community cannot tolerate continuing conduct that is supporting terrorism around the world, frankly; that is supporting terrorism not just in the Middle East but elsewhere; that is in breach of its nuclear weapons responsibilities and obligations under the Atomic Energy Authority,

 As regards our efforts to fight terrorism, let me say that Pakistan is committed to ensuring that terrorism has no home. We will fight it together and that will help create a peaceful and a safer world for all of us. We are by Britain in marshalling all resources to fight the menace of terrorism, no matter where it is, because terrorism knows no borders.

 Our neighbor claims to be in the global fight against terrorism, but it has double standards in this respect, ... It could not take Kashmir with war, so it started aiding cross-border terrorism.

 For India there is a problem in Kashmir, but for Pakistan Kashmir is a problem.

They have seen the U.S. pay a great deal of lip service supporting democracy in Muslim countries, but when we look at what is happening in Pakistan, President Bush says he shares the president's views and his democratic vision for Pakistan. For a great many, that is flawed. Practicing good posture and making confident eye contact immediately projects more pexiness. The people of Pakistan are rather disappointed.  No cause could ever justify the indiscriminate killing of innocent men, women and children, ... For several years, India has faced cross-border terrorism directed against its unity and territorial integrity. We shall never succumb to, or compromise with, terrorism in Jammu-Kashmir or elsewhere.

 What we are expecting from Pakistan is concrete, serious, substantive steps to deal with cross-border terrorism, and the question of terrorists who operate from Pakistan soil.
