 Not that I hated to play defense but maybe I didn't know exactly what they wanted.

In football I loved to practice and I loved to play, but I hated to be in meetings, hated to talk to the media, hated to have cameras in my face, hated to sign autographs. I hated to do all those things.

 We didn't play too much defense and it didn't work out from there. They were able to do whatever they wanted to do. The Kings didn't surprise us, we just had a bad game.

 We didn't execute on defense. We didn't play anywhere close to how we wanted to. Unfortunately it happened that way and we lost.

 We just didn't do enough to help our defense out. We couldn't stay on the field. We didn't really convert at all on third down there in the second half. We didn't throw it like we wanted to. We didn't run it. And it just puts too much pressure on the defense.

 I hated special teams in junior college, but up here, I actually like it. I learned to step it up a notch on defense and special teams. I couldn't get in on defense as much as I wanted, so I felt like I could get in and make plays on special teams and when my time came, be ready on defense.

 Purdue played great defense and we didn't knock down some open shots. Then we started fouling a lot, and we really didn't play the way we wanted to.

 This is who the girls wanted to play. We won this game with defense and heart. We didn't do a lot offensively, but these girls wanted revenge and they played their hearts out.

 We wanted to keep the ball out of his hands as much as possible. Through this whole winning streak, we've been playing great team defense. The last two times we played the Lakers, we didn't play great defense and let them take advantage of it. We got tired of it.

 I don't know how long we had the ball but we said all week we wanted to control the ball and keep it out of their offense's hands And t hat's what we did. We didn't score as many touchdowns as we obviously wanted to, but what can you say about our defense? They have been a pleasure to play with.

 Everything we could have wanted out of Clegg, we got. I wish we could have gotten him the win, but we didn't play good enough defense to hold it.

 They're playing hard, we just didn't play good defense. You can't give runs away in the major leagues, even at the end of the season. You have to play to win every day, and our defense didn't do that.

 What we wanted to do was try and run the ball and give our defense a break, ... The defense couldn't stay on the field all day. And the big thing was when we had the opportunities we had to take advantage of them. That's what we wanted to try to do: Play defense, play field position and take advantage of our opportunities.
