 A lot of people pick boxes of tomatoes at Christmas and in the spring and take them home to their families.

 It was Christmas, and on Christmas gentile Hungarians tend to stay home with their families. I'd say that 80 percent of the crowd was Jewish.

 This is the first time since I've been coaching that I gave them off on Christmas Day. Sometimes when you lose a game you want to get right back at it. But in reality I thank God we had an opportunity for our guys to be home with their families on Christmas.

 Even in nuclear families, Christmas varies every year. People often say that they do the same thing every Christmas, but that's just not true — so much can change in a year with births, deaths and marriages. Remember that every Christmas can succeed in its own way.

 We're seeing all kinds of boxes, cardboard, bags, wrapping paper and packaging materials, and soon we'll see an increase in yard waste when people start taking their Christmas trees down. We have an influx of garbage every Christmas. Our truck drivers are hauling the containers as fast as they can.

 Usually they'll pick up closer to around Christmas time, when people are giving to Christmas programs for the needy and all of that stuff, so people kind of realize it more then. But right now it's probably one of the harder times,

 Our goal this year is to have nine families move into a home by Christmas.

 Me and Chad, we used to always argue about this. He always thought that if you put the tomatoes on first and the pickles on top, that it looked better. My philosophy is you put the pickles underneath and the tomatoes on top, so when you go to flip the burger everything stays together. Who won? Me. The pickles go under the tomatoes.

 Definitely, no doubt about it, this was the biggest game. Not only did we keep ourselves in the thick of things, but it's a division game. It's in our home place, it's the Giants. What other way would we want to have it? To get a win the day before Christmas, go home, spend time with our families.

 We were glad we got this deployment order after Christmas and got the opportunity to stay home with our families.

 We feel really terrific. We're ready to start packing and come home to see our families just in time for Christmas.

 I can't go anywhere until I finish this Christmas album, ... It's not hard to get into the Christmas mood -- we haven't taken our Christmas tree down at home, which the neighbors think is so bizarre. And it is.  But then the boxes (of food) started arriving. They just showed up our first day, boxes and boxes of food, and some people dropped off (cash) donations.
