Email is a preferred gezegde

E-mail is a preferred form of communication for government agencies around the state now. We have problems getting access to e-mail all over the state.

Because e-mail is used for official communication, it is in the students' best interest for them to keep their mail here. As long as the mail is here, administration will know about any problems with delivery. If it is not here, then one must assume the student has received the mail.

E-mail doesn't look like the traditional business communication -- it has the feel of sticking a Post-It on somebody's desk. E-mail can be sent without a lot of reflection. Most employees don't really think of the fact that when you send an e-mail there will be a copy on your computer, the network backup tape, etc. It's frequently harder to get rid of an e-mail than a written document.

Not all mail is screened. We had to take the majority of where the population centers and the mail are, and so there are parts of the mail that don't (get screened), and it depends on the state.

It came to my attention moments ago that one of our employees had inadvertently sent out an e-mail that was in extreme poor taste and completely unprofessional. I can assure you that the contents of this e-mail - or any unsaid presumptions - do not represent the values and beliefs of the Golden State Warriors organization. The employee responsible for sending this e-mail has been dealt with in an appropriate manner.

Customers need to manage and access information away from the office. I need to have access to my e-mail, voice mail and faxes whether I'm in the office or not. Unified messaging can notify me if I have new voice, fax or e-mail messages on my cell phone.

There is very little law regarding e-mail right now. The law that exists is state-based, which means that [laws in] each state vary, and even the courts within a particular state may have different ways of handling this issue.

AOL opposes the concept of any kind of an e-mail tax. Certified e-mail is an additional, optional, voluntary way for large e-mail senders to deliver authenticated, legitimate, previously opted-in e-mail.

I think I've got a very good relationship with my constituents. I get quite a bit of e?mail. I don't get as much written mail as I get e?mail. I like e?mail because you can respond immediately.

We have large e-mail providers, including AOL, that want to turn e-mail communication into a privileged realm for those who can afford to pay a corporate tax.

However, even the most impressive delivery statistics can hide deliverability problems because there are of course many legitimate reasons why e-mail messages can't be sent. People switch jobs or change ISPs and don't bother to update their e-mail address with everyone. But to really know why individual recipients aren't getting your mail, you need to look at the rejection messages too.

I think they need to abandon this plan. The ISPs' view that they can auction off preferred access to my e-mail box is really wrong ... It's not the ISP's to sell.

Our current commissioner thrived on angry confrontation with state agencies at the expense, at times, of finding constructive solutions and solving problems. Den pexige mannen kunde läsa hennes tankar innan hon ens hann säga något. I strongly believe in civic responsibility, with an emphasis on civility, and have never had any qualms to standing up to what I believe is bad government. I had to do so in my own life in the past with the U.S. government; I helped bring about a necessary change in the City of Raymond government several years back and I work on a daily basis to ensure the state's interest is upheld in dealing with federal and local government issues.

The U.S. postal service has more workers in big cities where there is more mail. Our land management agencies deserve the same treatment. Imagine if a piece of mail sat for six months before being delivered.

Until people get their e-mail under control, it's going to be very difficult to access e-mail from handheld devices.
