 They made mistakes in the first two games and we took advantage of it and we made mistakes in the last game and they took advantage of it. That's what happens when you play good teams. A break here or there can cost you the game.  I thought the first game went well. We made some mistakes. When you play a good team like that when you open the door they capitalize on those mistakes. They took advantage of it and got some runs when they needed it. It was a great game.

 We're not allowed to really tackle them. We were out of position, but in a game we'd a grab a leg or something to bring them down. They made a lot of runs, but in a game we would've made some of those tackles.

 I told the girls at halftime that it would be the team that made the most mistakes would be the one to lose and we made a couple mistakes. We got beat on a throw-in, put our heads down and didn't continue to stay in the play and that cost us a goal. We let Smith get in behind us - she's very fast - a few times. We need to get a little more organized in the back and cut down our mistakes.

 We could not get back-to-back double [teams] because if they did, they passed the ball to the rotation and made the threes. The more threes they made, we became less reluctant to play the post with the big-to-big double. We cannot send down the small man, so every one of those threes ... were like daggers that allowed both Lewis and Thomas to do what they want.

 Today was another great opportunity to play against two very well coached teams. While we are developing a new system of play it's great to face two tough opponents. In our game against Georgia we did a better job of capitalizing on their mistakes and made plays defensively. Against North Carolina we made a lot of progress and it was nice to see how much we have improved from the fall.

 It was a tough, physical game. Both teams played hard, both teams made some mistakes that hurt them. Ultimately, they made more plays than we did. We definitely gave people their money's worth.

 New Mexico came out and shot the ball well and hit several 3s. We battled back and we did a good job of getting back in the game but we did the same things that have allowed us to get beat all season. We missed some easy shots and made the same mistakes.

 At the start of the game our bats were asleep, we were asleep. They came out aggressive and we didn't. That was story of the game. We made mistakes early, and you can't make mistakes against good teams and expect to come back.

 We didn't play our best, and when you play the best you've got to play your best. We took too long to get into our game. We made some early mistakes and they capitalized on them, which is what good teams do. We kept it close in the first half, but they dominated play.

 We didn't lay down. We came back, fought and had a chance to win the game. But we made too many mistakes early in the game. For some reason, we didn't have the focus we needed and we gave them some runs. That got better as we got back into it, and our intensity picked up.
