 It's really our only major fund-raiser, so it's very important to us. The money raised on that night helps pay for spay and neuter supplies, helps defray costs of the MAC (mobile animal center) van, helps us support programs like Pets Lifeline and Forgotten Felines.

 What helps one Navy family helps the Navy, what helps one Marine family helps the Corps. We are all family. I hope that those who are involved with donating money to the fund drive know that it is needed, and that those involved in volunteering their time to the fund drive know that their work is important to both NMCRS and the Navy and Marine Corps.

 It is one of our major fund-raisers. It helps fund all of the other programs we do.

 I think mentally it really helps because someone realizes how difficult the disease is ... Money always helps, but I think the mental thing is more important.

 We've only been in business for a year and a half, so (the fund-raiser) helps for people to know we're here.

 Getting larger really does matter. Scale helps because it helps drive greater discounts. The more enrollees you have, the better off you are in terms of costs.

 It's always a great thing to expand your fan base. That helps the players, it helps the team and it helps the NBA, so (Tucson's) where we've got to go.

 The money helps support the Building Bridges Foundation, camps and after-school programs.

 The failure to spay and neuter pets — that's the biggest contributor to the pet population.

 It's really a problem caused by irresponsible people who don't spay and neuter their pets.

 Working with groups like that and working with the rescues as well as adopting animals out is (how) we work to find these animals homes. The key to the whole overpopulation issue is spay/neuter, though. That's what it comes down to is we've got to really push the spay/neuter concept because that's what will begin to drop these numbers.

 It's a franchise operation. They pay us for every pupil that they take -- a sum of money -- which is helpful to Harrow in the UK. It helps to build up facilities here and it helps to keep the fees for the parents down, so it's worthwhile.

 Any opportunity that we have where we can demonstrate some of the different programs that we have helps the parents make a better decision and helps the students make a better choice of what they want to do.
