 Market players are almost certain that the Federal Reserve will keep raising interest rates and as long as the prospect of higher U.S. rates remains intact, dollar buying will continue.

 Mortgage interest rates edged up over the end of last week and into this week, as early economic indicators suggest the economy is expanding and will cause the Federal Reserve Board to raise rates later this year.

 The Federal Reserve does not want to have to raise interest rates. The next best thing is to have the market do it for them and that's exactly what happened.

 Looking at the economy, there's been a lot of market chatter about the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates.
