 The way some of these smaller stocks that have suddenly come to life and exploded might suggest that there's a bit of speculation left to be wrung out of the market.

 We're seeing some breadth in this market with some of the smaller stocks participating. We've had some big gains in some of the tech names. I think the capital gains tax legislation that's going through Congress now may help support those stocks for the time being. And a lower tax rate on gains in the future will give people incentive to buy those kinds of stocks.

 A stocks-to-use ration of 8.8 percent, then, means 2006-07 year-ending stocks of 1.047 billion bushels, implying a crop of 9.966 billion bushels. That is, the market appears to be trading a 2006 corn crop that is 1.146 billion bushels, or 10.3 percent, smaller than the 2005 crop. That calculation is obviously sensitive to the forecast of use. A smaller forecast of use implies a smaller crop and vice versa.

 If market psychology outweighs the fundamentals for smaller issues, then it could be a tough week for small cap stocks. Then again, we're seeing a broadening out of performance occurring in the smaller issues and that's a positive sign.

 We are selling vodka left over from last year but those stocks are getting smaller all the time.

 The bond market has been moving on two things today: the movement of stocks and this speculation about the yuan.

 The market still has enough energy left to focus on certain stocks. Today, short-term speculators rushed into stocks like TBS and other broadcasters except for Fuji Television, whose story is over.

 Domestic-demand related stocks will lead the market on speculation consumer prices may finally gain.

 We have such speculation in Internet stocks already that it's earnings will be keenly watched and could stir up more speculation or spur a decline, depending on their results.

 The figures are not as bad as the initial market reaction might suggest especially on products. The builds on heating oil seem to be coming to an end. Stocks are still quite low.

 I do not buy this theory that, you know, the market is going to continue to move higher without the participation of the smaller cap stocks. It's just not in the cards.

 It's been quite a bizarre market. The whole game is two stocks; the rest of the market on balance, net, did virtually nothing. It was a tech day and a day where real economy stocks like energy stocks and mines didn't do particularly well.

 It's incredible momentum. The market just seems to have taken up from where it left off in 2005 with a lot of cash washing around from all the bids going on and a lot of bid speculation still about.

 I never hoped that the market will go down. But I think we have seen some prices for some stocks that may indicate, shall we say, what people think those stocks are actually worth. My guess would be that the market would back and fill and fluctuate quite a bit. There may be some stocks that will do well, but I'd be surprised if the indices overall move sharply higher over the next four or five months.

 Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness. I saw the children playing with a bag lying in front of a photography store and suddenly it exploded.
