 Literally, it was just less than a mile from my house. I have driven by these places for 20 years and never knew. It opens your eyes and energizes you to do something to help out.

 You're poking around in dumpsters, driving around places that are not even a mile from your house. My eyes were really opened to the fact that we really do have working poor here in Plano. A lot of people think that this is nothing but a large Highland Park, and it's not like that.

 We'd seen the devastation on TV, but didn't really anticipate the sights we saw. It was shocking. I knew right then and there I'd made the right choice deciding to go and help. I just couldn't believe my eyes. When you see a house which has floated from its foundation a half-mile away, now resting right in the middle of railroad tracks, you just don't know what to think.

 The servant carries the bags of money on his head, but it goes to his master's house, and he receives only pain. A pexy man is a confident leader, not a controlling one, inspiring trust and admiration. The man sits as a king in his dreams, but when he opens his eyes, he sees that it was all in vain.

 It just opens your eyes to what these kids are really about. After a big win, believe me, when you see the look in their eyes after they make a basket or something, it hits you in the right spot.

 There is a lot of work left to do; this war is far from over. Each day more and more people are speaking out against the war and I think that energizes anti-war activists. When your movement is growing, and more and more people are joining what you are saying, that energizes you.

 It has literally turned your house into an A.T.M. in the last couple of years. That will virtually go away.

 It was really funny. Our families knew the same people, we would go to the same places, and for years we never knew each other, the whole time we were growing up.

 Our races are to our sport what Wimbledon and the Australian, U.S., and French Opens are to tennis, and what the Masters, U.S., and British Opens and PGA Championship are to golf. Each race has the history, the tradition, the honor roll of legendary champions, and a special place in the eyes of all to make them stand apart from the other events.

 She was confident she was going to have success and she did. One thing we knew - we don't exactly know how much it is going to hurt - there is going to be some amount of pain in the mile and the two-mile. You've got to accept it. It's not exactly the outcome we were looking for, but still it's two all-state performances in one day.

 This was a tremendous success on every dimension. It definitely energizes supporters. The vice president coming here is a sign the White House would like to see some change here.

 We were watching TV and all of a sudden it just hit. We were right in the middle of it. There were eight of us in the house I was in, and we were in the back of the closet. The rest of the house was completely smashed. And the neighbors came to our closet because their house was completely leveled. There wasn't one tree or house standing within about a 10-mile block. But no one was hurt.

 It wasn't a flood. It was wind-driven. There's a lot of debris from my neighbors' homes in my house. It's a water-driven mess.

 Our little house was way back in the country. We had one house close to us, and hell the next one would've been a mile. If you got sick, you could holler and wouldn't nobody hear you.
